The customer service in this pharmacy is second to none. The staff are so polite,friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The young pharmacist (don't know his name) is very helpful and understanding and Elaine is just a 'super star'. Thank you June Kirkwood.
Ross was always lovely and the pharmacy ran smoothly. I can’t comment on the new takeover as of yet as my phone call (literally just made) was answered quite quickly and I was told my prescription was ready to be delivered.
The only time I’ve ever had a problem with this pharmacy was when I’d ordered my prescription well in advance and they didn’t have it (no reason why).
I was told I had to phone the doctors and get it sorted. Unsure if it was the pharmacy or doctors issue but the medication was ready the next day and I was given enough of the medication to last me until then.
I get my medication delivered and my record is noted that if I am not in, my medication can be put through the letterbox. I came home yesterday, to find a note had been put through my door saying since no one available my medication couldn't be delivered. Today i have phoned twice with no answer. Are they shut on Saturday? I now don't have my medication until Monday.
Absolutely horrible service since Ross sold his Condorrat Pharmacy Chemist 11 months ago. Takes one week to get a prescription delivered. Ross would have it done same day or next. I've been sitting a whole week with no pain medication or anxiety medication. Can't sleep at night and I've still got to wait another 3 days until the next week. They've put an IVR on the phone line now and hold you in a queue hoping you'll hang up. I'm going to find a Chemist who cares. And not just about the prescription money they collect from the government and don't deliver in time. Heartless. People with cars why are you getting deliveries? Collect it yourself. Beware lots of fake reviews saying service is good. No doubt written by staff and friends. I wouldn't normally write something so negative but it's gone so bad I just can't let it continue and say nothing anymore. Ross please come back!. The staff was friendly when Ross owned the chemist.
The delivery drivers, Bob (RIP) I miss you! Boab and Stuart are nice people but they are unable to cope with high demand now. It's up to the new owners to get more delivery drivers. They don't seem to want to do that. People who own a car shouldn't ask for delivery as you're doing needy people out of their medication. Collect it yourself if you own a car ????
Been with Original - Ross Pharmacy, no problem getting my brand of tablets for 18years! Since the change over pharmacist told me to buy my tablets! Every month for last year I have to ask them to order in my brand!! I call it incompetence imo. I can accept once or twice but they have to be told every month to order my brand!
Have used the pharmacy for years both for personal use and for my job. Always very helpful staff previously who would go above and beyond. Sad to say this no longer seems the case , new pharmacist was rude and most unhelpful with an issue with prescription. I have now changed pharmacies.
New company handed over a well oiled machine by Ross and his team... looks like they've threw a spanner into it. I appreciate things change when someone new comes in, but surely the sensible thing would have been to come in, observe and then implement changes in a planned way instead of just throwing everything into chaos.
No idea what's going on now but I'm not the only one who's moving to another pharmacy now. Such a shame, as it was an absolute asset to the village.
I went to pick up prescription only half of the meds ordered on repeat prescription, staff are so unhelpfull bames the GP practice so I have to go back to GP, GP telling me all items where ordered and pharmacy has prescription, several phone calls UNANSWERED. Eventually answer the phone to tell me UHHH there were 2 bags, went to pick up meds, still items missing AND not answering the phone again sooo will have to trek back AGAIN. VERY POOR USELESS SERVICE, NEVER a problem before
