A lovely, well kept CL with far reaching views. Each pitch is a little small but has its own tap so we were able to permanently connect up our aquaroll. Convenient for Bideford, Barnstaple, Saunton Sands, Ilfracombe, Woolacombe and Westward Ho! Dog friendly beach 10 minutes drive away. Very friendly owners too.
Devon is a beautiful gem of a place and Collacott Farm EX37 9TP (Kings Nympton) seals the deal! Quiet, gentle pace of life on a family run farm. The Bennett are welcoming and full of information! Nolly and Kiki (the dogs) equally welcoming! The stables and surrounding countryside absolutely HD dreamy! The cottages simple, rustic a clean and comfortable with gardens which give you a postcard picturesque view of rolling hills, pastures and wildlife. Magical! Definitely going back for more! Horse riding, long country lanes, hills galore! Thank-you Collacott for a lovely experience!!!
Brilliant campsite, booked a week in advance, name was on our pitch, private water and electric points, clean tidy, nice views,
Lovely club site, great view, spotlessly clean, will be back.
So far so good ????????
Staying on the CAMC CL. Beautiful outlook, level hardstanding pitch, water and electric to each pitch, very well organised, excellent communication, helpful hints in a welcome note on arrival ... What more could you want?
Excellent certified location with water and electricity to all pitches. Very friendly management. Great llamas!
Beautifully kept CAMC certified location. The driveway leads you to believe it is worth a visit and we aren't disappointed. Our second year here. Pitch 5 is all grass and has a great view of the River Taw estuary. Instow is a few miles away and is great for walking the dogs with a voluntary exclusion code only for July and August. Great location for exploring North Devon. The owner, Linda, is very pleasant and extremely helpful. One of our favourite CL's.
Lovely and quiet, nice countryside views. Basic but clean toilet on site. This is a CAMC Certified Location, but there are actually 3 separate fields, which while we were there contained 21 caravans in total. However, the CL is set aside and you are unaware of the other caravan fields whilst there, except when you drive on and off the farm. The entrance to the CL field is a little tricky, but it is way off the road, so you have plenty of time to negotiate an entry! Our only disappointment was that although the site accepts dogs, there was nowhere specific to walk them. The site is on a fairly narrow country road, with no pavements. There were no public footpaths nearby. Our very boisterous Spaniel had to be taken in the car each day to the Tarka Trail, about 2 miles away, down a very narrow lane, at 7am, which is his usual walk time. This wasn't ideal. It would be great if the site could open up one of their fields as a designated dog walking area. The site would then be perfect for us and others with a dog.
