Best KPortal Reviews
Nice town pub, with very well prepared and presented food, good variety including options for vegetarians. The Goat’s cheese on flat bread was tasty, the salad very fresh and the home style chips delicious. Nice ale too, recommend after a jaunt in the Peak District!
Good service and food ????
Portions excellent and tasty
All enjoyed the experience
Quaint English pub in the middle of Ashbourne. Food is exceptional for the price and brags excellent pub lunches. Clean and tidy interior with a log burner fireplace. Staff friendly and helpful. They have a lot of great lunchtime deals which is good, but be careful, be aware, I was nearly charged full price for two meals within a deal meal menu. There is also an on street eating and drinking area and a beer garden. Well worth a visit
Well what can I say about this pub.
Very friendly staff, excellent service, nice cold beer and extremely good quality food.
I highly recommend a visit here ????
We watched the England vs Ukraine football match. Good atmosphere and great value on drinks
Brilliant pub Brilliant landlady cracking night in there defo returning beer nice to????
Nice friendly welcome. Staff were very helpful giving advice on menu. There we're only 2 vegan options on the menu and my husband and I both went for the tofu and leek pie which came with chips, mushy peas and a rich gravy, it was very tasty. Would definitely go again if we were in the area again
I have been to this pub several times over the past few months, the staff are always friendly and quick to serve. The pub seems to be run entirely by young adults and they are very clicky ,not a problem in itself, my problem is that on my last visit at least 2 members of this click who were well known to the bar staff were sitting with their feet on the tables, tables which people could be eating there food from.to be far the bar staff did clean one table but not where the feet had been rested, not very hygienic I must say. I have hade meals in the pub before and the food was good but will not be eating there again to to the hygiene standards.
I feel this pub needs some serious Adult supervision.
KEEP YOUR MUCKY FEET OF THE TABLES PLEASE
