Really lovely Saturday night there tonight. We shared 4 small plates plus chunky chips and all were delicious and presented well. Staff were friendly, helpful and polite. I'd recommend it and would go there again.
Nb. The menu has changed recently. The Sunday lunch looks good and reasonably priced. Would like to try that too!
This was our first visit here. I like the building; originally a bank, and now done up like an oversized garden shed, with greenery and tools on the walls. We went there for dinner and I found it a little noisy for my liking, although it was a Saturday night and busy with diners and drinkers, and they had a live entertainer - a Michael Bublé type, who was very good actually. I thought the food we had (steak/gammon steak) was overpriced, simple pub food, but I can't comment on the rest of the menu. The wine is also overpriced in my opinion. The service, however, was good. If you like a casual dining experience and don't mind a bit of noise?

The interior of this place is totally awesome it's very rustic and has a good vibe. Staff seem friendly and the menu has lots of good options. The food took around 30 minutes to come but it was definitely worth the wait. Very hot and tasty I had the CBLT on Ciabatta bread and it was delicious ????????
Very nice atmosphere, redolent of a posh allotment shed in Birkdale. Very good quality food but at relatively high prices for Southport. Probably best to go for the specials which seem to be better value. Definitely worth visiting though.
Local to me, nice place to dine or just have drinks. Local for transport. Great venue and individual. I've already decided what I'm eating next time.
We had such a lovely mean at the allotment. We had our children with us but still felt like we could have a grown up meal where they enjoyed it too. Food was great and the salted caramel martini was delicious!!!
Party was booked over a week in advance, told last minute that the kitchen was closed at 8 after an hour of being in there.
Service was extremely poor, everything was too much trouble. Felt pushed out at the end, denied any other drinks. It was not even 10pm, we were told closing time was 12.
