Booked an afternoon tea for 4 at short notice for today and it did not disappoint. Very welcoming atmosphere, cosy seating and dog friendly. Most importantly though, the selection of sandwiches and cakes were outstanding. The viennese whirls were particularly good and we loved being able to choose any drinks we liked since not all of us are tea drinkers. Very generous portions so great value and we went home with full bellies AND a couple of large doggy bags!
We were visiting Wimborne and went to cloisters for coffee, tea and my wife had chocolate cake. It is dog friendly which was good as it was raining. The only two issue's were they need to order more pastries (sausages rolls, pasties etc) as we went at lunch time in the week, not the weekend and they said they had sold out, and the toilets are up 2 flights of stairs which ment I could not go to the toilet as I have mobility issues. The coffee was good and my wife enjoyed her chocolate cake.
Very nice place. Very busy, staff very friendly and good service. Food was amazing too , large portions and cakes looked great but didn't try them.
Quick service. Fair prices. Varied selection of tasty food. Perfect cafe for a drink or something to eat. I can personally recommend the halloumi and chilli jam toasties.
Our first time in Wimborne and this cafe was recommended to us. A lovely, traditional English menu. We got the veggie and big breakfast. Both were amazing. Very tasty and that egg was gorgeous! It is a very clean and cosy cafe with friendly staff who are very efficient. They have cute bathrooms upstairs also.
The cakes are always fresh and I can recommend the jumbo tea cakes, smothered in butter are amazing. We will probably have lunch there soon as it all looks delish! Staff are lovely too.
It was my Nans birthday today and my mum took her out for lunch at Cloisters! They said the food was amazing but what impressed them more was the lads working who gave exceptional service and made her day even more special. She really appreciated the complimentary slice of cake she was given for her birthday and was chuffed!
Thank you so much to those boys who should deffo be rewarded for their customer service skills !!
Really lovely place. A hidden gem! I have lived locally for years and shamefully have never been here. My friend took me here for lunch and it was lovely. I had the celeriac & apple soup which was really delicious. They make a fantastic pumpkin spiced latte too! I'll definitely be coming back!
