The chips and the crispy shredded chicken was delicious. I would recommend ordering from Clifton Hotel as the customer service is wonderful and the food is more than a 5 star rating!

By far the best Chinese! I without a doubt will always go to this one. The staff are lovely, the food is very tasty, the prices aren’t extortionate and prompt collection!
Can't believe haven't reviewed this before. For the last 10 years our army reunion has been here in Goole and on the Sunday we have had a takeaway from the Clifton Hotel. This year we ordered for 22 persons, enough food came for 32!!!! Very generous portions. Food was of a high standard and delivered too!! Would recommend the food side of the business.
We ordered a Chinese to be delivered but we were dissatisfied with what we got.Chicken and sweet corn soup so sweet it was like a pudding. Spare ribs were like chewing on leather. the chicken curry was awful we couldn't finish it. The sea weed was gritty i think it was sugar again we couldnt eat it.The chicken chow main was OK not good but OK.£24. Not worth it.
Prompt delivery and good portions but terrible food. Waste of money and repeated on me all night. Wish id not bothered. Would have been happier with a slice of dry toast.
My family ordered a takeaway and we were very impressed, speedy delivery and the portion sizes were decent will definitely be ordering again, and that’s our tea sorted for tomorrow night as well, thank you :)
