We have used this takeaway for many years and it has consistently been top notch. The owners are lovely and efficient. The food is THAT good we drive over 40 minutes one way to fetch it. I’ve tried others near my home, in a city, when we moved from that area and we’ve found nothing anywhere near as good. Absolutely recommend - no question x

Genuinely great food put together by lovely people. Nothing was overly salty - which can occasionally happen with Asian food - and the portions were perfect. Highly recommended to all.

Had the duck though and the hoisin sauce isn’t like any other Chinese’s. Personally I’m not a fan of the sauce
But everything else is good
The best Chinese takeaway in the Alfreton and Somercotes area. Most are hit and miss, but this one has consistently good service (staff are always happy and engaging) and excellent quality food with more than fair prices. The fact they don't deliver or have little online presence says a lot - they don't need to. They always seem steady (including being busy at peak times) with collections when I imagine most customers have the option of delivery from other establishments. Take from that what you will. This lovely takeaway is a credit to the owners and the area.
