I’ve been with the practice for well over 15 years, and have always had good experiences. I feel very lucky to have Henna she really is an amazing dentist, I have sensory issues and experience high levels of anxiety, and have struggled with dentist appointments my whole life. I had gum issues and she has worked with me sensitively over a long period she explains what she’s going to do clearly, and she is understanding of my needs. With her help I have managed to restore good gum health and understand what I need to do to maintain it.
Where do I begin, the greatest dentist ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD!!
Dr Henna is my SAVIOUR she was the only Dentist out of 3 to be able to extract my back tooth. After day in excruciating pain and being extremely uncomfortable, this magician of a dentist managed to do it. I'm not nearly 48hrs after and feeling hardly any effects.
She managed to fix the issue another dentist caused in my emergency appointment where I believe he done something wrong or sterilization wasn't done efficiently because the lump and infection I got after that appointment was not normal by any stretch of the imagination. Luckily we have a TOP TIER DENTIST who saved me and 1 morning in her care TOOTH OUT and she drained the infection so I've been absolutely buzzing because I was told I will have to be sedated in order to extract the tooth at very back of my upper right side. 1 visit to Dr Henna after a few injections and her walking me through the procedure. I couldn't even feel the tooth extraction, when she said all done I was in utter shock at the swift and clean work. I didn't even know it happen.
I highly recommend her for any treatment, great work you deserve 7 stars but they allow 5 only.
Wonderful work and thank you so much the pain I was in and what I was being told had to happen to get that tooth out, she did without needing to. TOP JOB WELL DONE
Recently I called in the reception to get an appointment and then woman at the desk was like to me you’re lucky you called in because it’s been two years since you’ve seen us and in about 10 days we wouldn’t be able to treat you due to our regulations. I was like okay that’s fine, although I was thinking to myself how was I supposed to know that because I’ve seen the receptionists call people in to alert them of this being the case. Then the day of my appointment arrived and I started my menstrual cycle when I was leaving (I only live around the corner) I was asking to see if I can reschedule the appointment or something then now I am no longer a client at this practice which I have been attending for about 10 years. This was because I did two cancellations in a row, I explained to the woman two years ago I was away for university hence why I cancelled it and this time it was just a general emergency. Not only that I was sure that it was up to three cancellations but that’s fine. Lack of compassion and customer service skills at this practice, the receptionist was so flippant and quick to hang up on me.
I am an extremely nervous patient due to some bad experiences, however on Monday I had Wisdom tooth extracted by Dr. Dewald Fourie and felt safe and reassured by his patience ,offering explanation, taking extra time and in general being kind and caring. This is first time I had treatment at the surgery but It was first time I came home from dentist without mild trauma.
Previously I had struggled to book emergency appointment but I feel that booking system is much better now and outside emergency situation being treated by kind dentists is worth the wait. I felt totally in safe hands.
I have always had a great service at Clapton Dental. I love my dentist (Dr Henna Kirpal). She is always very kind, explains things clearly and is very helpful. Thank you to the team :)
I can't recommend Dewald and his team at Clapton Dental Surgery more highly to anyone who needs cosmetic work done. I had a veneer and crown replaced. I have had veneers on my front teeth for over 30 years and have had them replaced many times over the years due to breaks or wear. I have never felt so safe with a dentist. He talked me through every step of the treatment, explaining what her was doing and using the digital software to model what he was going to do. As a result of the amount of treatment I have had over the years, I am anxious about visiting the dentist and will put it off if at all possible. The whole experience was miles away from anything I have had in the past. The digital technology and Dewald's expertise had me so interested in the process that I forgot to be nervous. I am delighted with the results and I will return for further treatment without any nerves. Thank you
I don’t use this dentist as I refuse to use such an awful place. My mum and my sister have had their appointments cancelled so many times especially last minute because of a “ sick “ dentist. But if you don’t turn up or late they threaten you with being kicked off their books. I also sat in there once waiting for my sister and when someone wanted to book an appointment they said he had to pay to book the appointment ?! What’s that all about lol I go to a different dentist and never had issues. This dentist practise looks like it’s from ww2 the state of outside of the shop looks like it’s been had a bomb dropped on it.
