The owner Arfan was excellent.. He was recommended by a friend.
With me being new ish to Preston I dont know the people or places very well. So having honest and upfront people are very helpful. I tried a few other places and got quotes for tyres and advice and they weren't nearly as good as Arfan.
He went above and beyond and I feel when I spoke to him, I had known him for years. He sorted a good deal on decent tyres and was also excellent in finding my a suitable place for my breaks.
I would recommend Arfan at City Tyres every time. Whether it's just for a friendly chat, solid advice or some decent tyres too.
Bit sketchy looking but was pleased with the service. Got a part worn tyre for £30 as the price for new tyres was too expensive 60/70 for a small cars tyre (Peugeot 107)
Charged £210 for what was supposed to be a like-for-like brand tyre. Turned out to be a non-branded budget tyre. Took advantage of a dark evening and a family trying to get to a destination for family event after a tyre blow out on the motorway.
Great place and great owner! He gave me loads of options. I ended up getting some Dunlop part worn tyres that look brand new. The owner also made sure that I knew I could contact him if I had any issues or questions. Definitely my new tyre guy ????
Afan was so helpful and efficient I was a damsel in distress mobile hairdresser with a poorly tyre he replaced it there and then and kindly put a decent second hand tyre on for me

Really good service and sound advice and friendly. Open on Sunday which was good for us having had a blowout on Saturday night on our way south from Scotland. Good price too.
