I have used City Electro since moving to Swansea 20 years ago, and take my car there for an MOT every year.
The service is always friendly, and the price is very competitive.
I can't recommend them enough.
I will recommend City Electro Diesel Services to all my friends. In less than one hour they got my emissions so low it easily passed its MOT (2023). I constast the Dealership where I have previously always had it serviced and MOTed for the previous 10 years have been telling me for the last 2-3 MOTs my only scrapped through on it emmissions, and last time (2022) they told me it would never pass its emmissions again in an MOT. In constrast City Electo Diesel got the emmissions down in less than and one hour and it easily passed its MOT. They provided a no frills, quality honest service at a reasonable price just as they state on their advertisment - well they did not say frills on there advertisment because I guess all there efforts go into giving quality and keeping the cost reasonable. Just what I always look for. Well done and thank you.
Can highly recommend this company, with 25y+ experience in just one of they're technicians, my starting/egr/drive-train issue that Citroen failed to investigate fully was diagnosed within 30 minutes and without the attitude I'd received from the dealership, going on about how busy they were, DIYer' fixing they're own vehicles using non-standard parts, internet, forums, amateurs blah blah blah prompted me to look elsewhere. Yes, I could have returned it to the dealership for them to have another look but the trust isn't there due to they're attitude. City Electro checked everything, sorted the main issue and clarified any worries I had. In fairness to the dealership the action they took fixed the one issue but I had complained about it not starting easily, they just did the easiest solution which happened to cure one fault.
These guys fixed my car after it broke down in July. They tried their hardest after finding parts hard to come by due to Covid 19 and people trying to rip them off with used parts rather than new parts. Done a amazing job. Thank you:)
Absaloutly shocking garage! Would not recommend to anyone. Over 5 months theve had my 4x4 and not 1 phone call I've had from them. Constantly chasing them and it's always everyone else's fault. Would never use them again full of lies
Went there with what was thought to be dpf issue, had a couple faults come up which they deleted (not rectified) they took it for a drive and faults stayed off but told me to change the oil. Diagnosis is done in minutes and they drove the van a couple miles yet was billed an absolute scandalous amount of money to the point I'm still shocked. Very poor service and value for money
They charged me £1100 to test the injectors and replace 1 of the injectors, 2 weeks later management light back on with the same fault appearing
We have used City Electro Diesel for any complicated engine re-build job that we wouldn't trust our local garage to do.
Very friendly and down to earth group of people, good quality and honest work. They are a sensible alternative to a main dealer.
