Very nice place to dine. Possible to make advance bookings. The restaurant was medium size, cosy and with a quite calm ambience. Great food, specially the starters. The staff were very friendly staff, and the service was good. We found the prices very reasonable.
Fantastic food - we live close by so order takeaway, at first glance the prices may look a touch expensive but bear in mind the portions are huge! Mixed grill comes on a bed of rice and comfortably feeds 2 people. The hot mixed and cold mixed starters are both delicious and served with a huge side of tasty Turkish bread. Friendly, prompt service too
Went here for midweek meal, staff very friendly and helpful, food was really good. We had family special which includes mixed meze starter which comes with lovely warm home made bread. Main was also really good portion sizes are huge so took some home with us. Would recommend. With regard to previous comments they do now have candles on tables.
Went for a lovely meal with our 6 year old. Very nice atmosphere and such lovely food one of my favourite restaurants. The only thing that I think will make it a fantastic restaurant would be if they had slightly dimmer lights with candles on the table and Turkish music playing. Just a thought but I would not stop going there as its lovely.
The food is always good and the staff are friendly. We went for an early dinner and while there were a few people around towards the end of the meal it started to get busy. I'd recommend booking beforehand if you want to eat at any sort of a normal time. I can heartily recommend the mixed Mezes starter, it has all the best bits of the starters menu. The mixed grill is enough to fill you up without having to spend too much. All choices are good though so enjoy exploring the menu!
Cira Restaurant in Royston is perfect!! The location, the service, the cleanliness, staff is super friendly, everything spot on! I had the Filo Pastry Cigar filled with cheese and spinach and it was unbelievably tasty! I also had the Lamb Moussaka which was the best I had in ages!!! Thank you so much and keep up the excellent work!!!
We had the Cira special for 2. The food was beautiful. Full of flavour and you can taste how good the quality of the meat is. Plus you get so much food! No skimpy portions from these guys. Can't recommend enough.
Most of the time great food BUT, twice the rice wasn't cooked properly. And the last time i ordered the food wasn't what we ordered. I sent them an email about it but no reaction at all. Just to be clear I was not and still isn't after any discount or refund but if I order food, deliver what i have ordered. I do understand that 3-4 month closing down has a really negative impact in the profit but it doesn't justify to deliver wrong and uncooked food.
