I highly recommend Churchdown Dental Surgery, and am extremely pleased with the gold standard care I’ve received.
Firstly I’ll mention the reception staff. Every receptionist I’ve met has been so smiley, caring and welcoming. After being in tears from dental pain over the phone, they have been so understanding, really listened to my worries and got me booked in the same day. The reception team always provide a call prior to appointments as a reminder, and call following treatments to check you’re ok.
The reception area is always clean and tidy… Not forgetting to note they also provide great TV programmes (such as Mr Bean) which is great for children to watch!
Going onto the dentistry work, the dental nurses have always been so professional and work really hard, despite being consistently busy. The treatment room is always spotless.
Finally, I cannot thank Dr Mohammed enough. He has been so thorough with my treatments, and has also been very clear with pricing throughout.
Dr Mohammed provides empathy with every aspect of his care, always checking I’m ok. His expertise in dentistry truly reflects following the service he has provided me and I will be forever grateful.

My whole dental experience with the practice has been amazing. Treatment availability was very quick as I was in lot of pain. They were able to fit me in quickly as a new patient. Dr Mohammed made me feel calm and was very good, including the reception staff and the practice was clean and tidy. They even gave me a courtesy call to see how I was doing after the extraction, which I found very reassuring.
Had an awful experience here, i am 17 so i get the treatment for free on nhs had my first filling fall out after maybe 2 days, i called again and they arranged a second appointment. apon being in the chair and mouth open i was told that i cannot come back for 2 months but at the time i was okay with this thinking that this new filling would last (didnt even get to brush teeth once). It is almost as if this surgery priorities getting people in and out as quick as possible rather than giving a good treatment. I personally would never go here if you need treatment. because of this ill now need to explain why i cannot go here to NHS and hope that i can get another surgery to go to
if i could add images on here i would to show you that the work done was below par the way the filling fell out was in chunks and i personally thought was work done wouldnt fallen out in days regardless of how dry they had the area or how i was brushing my teeth
I rang Churchdown Dentist on a Friday in floods of tears. The receptionist was so kind and got me in the next day for a check up with the dentist.
5 days later I’m in for my scale and polish and the dentist was nothing but understanding as I’m a nervous wreck in any medical setting. He let me listen to music on my headphones to help with my nerves and got me sorted.
Receptionist even offered me a hug afterwards cus I was a bit teary.
Back in next week for one more round of cleaning and I feel much more at ease knowing the team will look after me well.
Mr Mohamed is my usual dentist but with great skill and care he has successfully applied an implant. He explained the procedure throughout and made sure at all times that I was comfortable.
The result is excellent and I highly recommend him for implant work.
Churchdown Dental Surgery was recommended to me following an unsatisfactory experience with a private dentist in Cheltenham who recommended treatment costing £6,500.
I initially saw Mr Mohammed for a second opinion and have had a second appointment for routine x rays and cleaning. Mr Mohammed has taken the time to explain everything about my teeth and has reassured me that the recommended work was unnecessary and the only benefit would have been cosmetic. I am so grateful to have found this practice and so relieved that I don’t need to spend such a large amount of money on unnecessary dental work.
The reception staff have been equally helpful and accommodating.

Friendly receptionists, thorough dentists and competitively priced. I booked in for a check up after switching from a different practice. I was very happy with the level of care I had during my check up, scale and polish compared to what I've had previously. I've always wanted to give teeth whitening a go too and was surprised at how affordable it was. They were also very good with my children's check up's too. Highly recommend.
