Worst service ever! I've only just registered with them, BIG MISTAKE! Absolute rubbish! They cancelled 4 of my appointments, one after the other. I was lied to by one of the ladies at the reception saying that she sent me a message minutes before my appointment to cancel. It's been almost a week and still haven't received the message. She booked me in for this week when she knew the nurse wouldn't be there on that particular day! Very unprofessional! I had to take time off work twice for these appointments and got nothing in return!
She was even rude to someone who called while I was there and hang up on them!
Don't waste your time registering here, it's not worth it!
I couldn't get an appointment in one year, Now!! Seriously, worried sick of my health , I just gave up hope, this is the worst medical practice I've ever joined, completely disgusting, they should just close it down.
If you want to see a doctor face2face, then this is the wrong place to look for one. I haven't seen one in almost 4 years, neither me nor my child. They are like Holy Grail: everybody knows about their existence, but no one can see them.
You have more chances to see Jesus walking down your street, than these docs!
So my advice is either look for a GP somewherelse, or better pray to God to solve your health problems, as honestly, He will listen faster than these ones!!
I saw Dr Goyal a couple of weeks ago, I have been a member of this practice 5 years they have been great, sometimes you do have to wait for an appointment, but I appreciated not being rushed out, she was exceedingly thorough and knowledgeable.
I have not been too long with this practice but I can say it is definitely the worse I have been with. There are too few receptionists, well overworked and no surprise that they may be unfriendly at times. I was in need of a referral only to be told it is not possible but after highlighting the NICE Guidance I was called back and the referral process was started, but it took approx 6 months for them to send it. I asked for some results to be emailed to me only to be told the lady who does this is off sick, so they do not have provisions in place for this either. To top it off, I received a few texts that I am due a smear test and I should book an appointment with the surgery only for them to cancel 3 consecutive appointments. These people have no idea what they are doing, they are in breach of duty of care for all patients and they put lives at risk. I can only hope CQC monitor these reviews and interview patients at the next inspection as, to me, they are inadequate and need urgent review to improve services.
Worst worst worst service ever - if you call even call this a service.. My elderly mother has only seen the doctor once in a whole year. She has been in severe pain all that time and has not had a face to face meeting with a medical practitioner. Why have doctors if you cannot see them? Why have reception staff if they are lazy and rude? Calls are put on hold for over 40minutes each time. When someone finally picks up, they ask to call back at 2pm (knowing that NO ONE will pick up). Citizens have no choice in health providers and the people supposed to serve them have forgotten priorities. To Church Elm Lane Health Centre: Shame on you all!
Would have given zero stars if that was possible.
I would like to say
"Well done to everybody at Church Elm Lane Health Centre"...
I recently had to deal with the lovely Ladies at reception, fantastic. They took care of my requirements with professionalism and empathy and sorted out my appointment as soon as they possibly could. I had to see a Nurse and again, I received the same impeccable service as I did at the reception and all this first thing on a Monday morning (nobody's fave time of the week). I couldn't be happier with the service I received face-to-face with the staff and I thanks them for the help.
Well done everybody concerned.
To those reading this review, always remember that a big smile with lots of "Please" and "Thank-you" will go a long way.
The GPs are really horrible. No empathy, no support, try to finish appointments as fast as possible even when you book a longer appointment and worst of all they don't listen (apart from Dr Goyal, she has always been nice). Today I had a morning telephone appointment for my son who was crying all night with earache. He is 5 and has special needs as does my other son. GP called once and I missed it and didn't bother to call back, there is no afternoon clinic today so so I called the surgery as said I missed the call but my son really needs needs a doctors and she said he's been crossed off because the gp called several times...I has one missed call! Now I have to go A&E with 2 autistic children. I am so p***ed off at how inconsiderate these doctors are. I have had enough of this type of behaviour and I'm going to change GP.
