Stopped here before going to Asfordby FC, read about this takeaway from @russwwfc who gave a good rating. He wasn’t wrong. I had chilli salt and spicy chips. Huge portion and were very tasty. A great find
We’ve been once since moving to the area and it was really nice, can’t wait to try again.
We had heard good reports from Chungs but our meal was awful, had far too much thickening agent that left a flour tasting in your mouth for both dishes, it set solid with half an hour! The rice was all clumped together and it cost £5 more than our usual place. Only good point was the meat they used was good quality pity they made it inedible with the sauce. Wont be going back
Always the friendliest of staff and the quickest service. Atmosphere you can't really say in a take away, you are not there to linger. A bit mean on the food score maybe because take away food can never be up there with restaurant food. Oh and it's great value for money too. Strangely not an evaluation category here but so mportant to most in current economic times!
We had a takeaway delivered to the caravan site we were staying on, it was delivered right to our pitch in very good time and was hot and super delicious!! Will definitely use Chung's Cottage again! Yum!
Very fresh and authentic Chinese food that I have ordered many times now! Always great service and huge portions. Highly recommended either for take away or delivery service!
The food was freshly prepared, the portions were generous and the restaurant is immaculate with social distancing adhered to. As a local option I would highly recommend Chung's Cottage, saves a trip to Melton Mowbray and will happily use again in the future.
Really pleased with the food and service! Ordered over the phone and was ready to collect within 15mins. Young lad greeted us and was really helpful and polite. Will definitely be coming again, thank you and good luck with your bee venture I think you will be very popular
