It was my first time ordering from here and i am glad i did w/o reading the 1☆ reviews.
I have to say the food was delicious. I had 2 starters and a special house noodles with king prawns. It asked for it to be spicy and they added a bit green chillies which was perfect. It was full of lovely crunchy veg and big prawns.
The veg spring rolls were also very tasty.
Generous portions as well as i had it for 2 days. Good on reheat.
Thumbs up from me. I will be going there again.
Foods used to be very delicious from here. I used to get king prawns fried rice from here about almost 20 years ago.
I was looking for a Chinese take away last week and I came across Chung’s Chinese on the internet. I was really surprised they’re still there and so happy to try the food again. I ordered beef chow mien and it was awfully salty. I couldn’t eat it. The lady that works there is lovely but she’s too fast and doesn’t give you a chance to properly make an order. She’s too fast.
Sadly I cannot recommend.
We ordered a few dishes, and we told them no mushrooms as a relative had a severe allergy. When the food was delivered, there were mushrooms in 2 dishes. I called up the restaurant and they said that they would give us those 2 dishes free in our next order. We then ordered this evening and the dishes had mushrooms again. So I called up the restaurant to speak to the manager and was told no, the manager doesn't want to speak to you. Then I asked for a refund but was told no. Jason, who answered the phone, had absolutely no clue what he was doing.
Just rubbish! Chow mein just dry noodles no flavour had to order it with extra prawns as card about is £10 sad in a cashless economy! Glad I did as I would have got 3 prawns! Sell sell the place back to the people that had it before! You have destroyed it
Ordered duck with pancakes but received only pancakes. When called they tried to fob me off stating that the pancakes fried with duck. They offered a replacement but never arrived. Very disappointed customer who have used them since 1980's and will not be ordering ever again from this place.
Ordered £90 worth of food which was ment to come with a free bottle of coke which we never got and then found we didn't have pancakes either for the half duck which we ordered also the driver got lost so took them longer to fine us so the food was luke warm so a little disappointed and not sure if we will order from them again.
Apparently this is a plain chow mein. No it isn't. It's dry noodles!!! For £6? Sorry but that is a joke!! Every other Chinese takes the meat out, chungs takes out everything else too lol and fries you up some noodles with nothing else. You USED to be the best in hounslow, when did you start using the smallest possible take away pots aswell
Lovley food Best chinese if only the chicken balls where abit bigger and a little more batter there so small and the chow mean as you can see in pictures needs to be alot better they all mush but most dishes are absolutely brilliant component parts lack for the mains food
