Nous avons passé un super séjour dans ce château magnifique. Les chambres et les lits sont très confortables, les deux salons sont décorés avec beaucoup de goût et la piscine est très propre et extrêmement bien équipé. La communication avec la propriétaire est très fluide et agréable. Merci beaucoup!
Nous avons passé un très bon we d'Halloween avec des amis (19 avec les enfants). Le lieu et ses alentours sont propices aux belles balades, aux visites de caves et aux déguisements de sorcières ou de Dracula... ;-).
Si nous n'avons pas pu profiter de la piscine (en novembre, Brrr..), les enfants ont été ravis de déambuler dans les allés du bois, jouer à cache-cache, au ping-pong, au foot... Tout est fait pour profiter sereinement et en sécurité du parc. Et le soir, c'est le coin bibliothèque qui a été leur terrain de jeu.
May est une hôte très remarquable, accommodante et au service de ses voyageurs avant, pendant et après le séjour.
Nous avons passé un excellent week-end entre amis à 8 familles. Il y a tout ce qu’il faut pour les enfants et les hôtes ont été très accueillants.

Cons: next to a very busy, loud road (which we had blocked out by the end of the week), 2-bedroom Farm Cottage is very small and very basic (rustic as the website tells you), cottage wasn't fully clean and was very dark, unlike the photos. Table tennis table and games room were dirty. Bedrooms were really small and so hot, lots of mosquitos (fans provided but we were told to buy our own mosquito repellents). It was a no frills place, despite the high price. We were really disappointed.
Pros: the gardens are very lovely and cared for, the swimming pool was lovely, the outdoor space, the fact there are table tennis and pool games, the on-site bikes and ability to cycle from property on to nearby beautiful fields and villages, the close proximity to the zoo in Doué (this was amazing), supermarket and boulangerie in close driving distance, close to other attractions. We made the most of it.
It’s hard to find enough good words to say about this place. The location itself is beautiful and well cared for and the facilities were perfect for our family. Our two young children loved playing in the pool, games room, on bikes and exploring the maze and grounds around the chateau. There’s also lots to do within a short driving distance. May and Guy were brilliant hosts - we’ll definitely be back.
I joined a singing retreat at this beautiful chateau & had a wonderful time. Our room was in the chateau itself, reached by an old spiral staircase. Downstairs there was a comfortable lounge & library, & a large kitchen with every amenity supplied. Outside there were plenty of places to sit in the sun or shade; plus the large swimming pool with plenty of loungers was an added bonus in hot weather. Beyond that, the grounds extended to include a maze to wander around in. Our hosts Guy & May were delightful & nothing was too much trouble, including finding fans for the rooms on exceptionally hot nights. Highly recommended for family groups or friends as well as sessions like ours. I’m looking out for May’s yoga retreats, I’d certainly like to return!
We have very recently stayed and had an absolutely amazing time! Both May and Guy were so welcoming and and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble.
We stayed in the Farm Cottage and had full use of the outdoor facilities. The Chateau was a stunning back drop to our stay, the boys loved the swimming pool and the all the toys they had to play with!
The Farm Cottage itself was a beautiful period property and it was perfect for our family needs.
Very clean and felt like home from home,
only wish we could have stayed longer!

What an amazing chateau. Rooms are all en suite, beautifully decorated. Play room for children, beautiful pool, badminton court, football pitch, plenty to keep you occupied. fully equipped kitchen like your own home.
I had the most enjoyable experience here. I went with a group called ‘singing escape’ and we all had the same fantastic experience. Would most certainly recommend it to anyone and everyone. Looking to my return visit.
