Tried it after seeing a couple of positive reviews and wish I never bothered. Was genuinely like your auntie had attempted a fake away. Salt and chilli chips were oven chips sprinkled with chilli flakes over about 3 of them.

Salt and pepper chicken just tasted of flour and had no flavour/ spice

Even the prawn crackers were dried up and oiley. Definatley would never go here again would rather go hungry

Having been to several other Chinese takeaways over the last few years, we were very impressed at the 3 meals we Just had from China Garden.

They were not greasy like other places. All the ingredients were fresh & cooked perfectly. We've never had a duck meal that's been so delicious & duck tasty & succulent.

Think we've finally found the best Chinese takeaway in Dumfries.

That would also explain why they're so busy at the weekend's, so advise that you might want to order an hour before you want to eat at busy times.

Worth the wait though.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!! We ordered from here last night the food was terrible! There's an extra 'meat' in the chicken chow main, which resembles some sort of processed ham (I'm guessing) . We got a salt and chilli munchie box. The majority of it was plain chips no salt or chilli to be seen. There's honestly no flavour in the food at all yet the worst part about it was the disgusting attitude of the woman on the phone

Absolutely awful, a chicken curry was green, chicken chow mein had some sort of ham in it, lemon chicken was sweet and sour chicken with slices of lemon in it, chips were undercooked and mushy and the prawn crackers seemed like they were left overs from the day before. Could press charger for attempted murder if i really wanted.

Nothing more annoying than getting the wrong meal, after the return journey from Southerness, finding the wrong meal is really annoying but to add insult to injury the portion of ribs had a sauce resembling water, sea water discusting salty brine. There was very little meat on the bone and was dry. So in short not good, it was my first visit but after a £10 price paid for a bad meal my second maybe along time coming.

Ordered a munchie box & food was clearly out of date as chicken was a very pale colour, and chips were under cooked. After an hour of eating I received severe food poisoning and was up all night being sick. Never again.

Terrible. all dishes we had taste like they were boiled & everything is served with jelly MSG gravy. Crispy dishes were mush, prawn toast was deep fried white bread . Bleucht Avoid.

Crispy dishes were mush and soggy. Chips undercooked. Curry sauce nearly green in colour! Absolutly awful. Spent 26 pound and it went in the bin!!
