Our usual weekly place to order from, never a problem minus the vile, cold and hard frozen chips. Different person on the phone this time (this was a woman) who couldn't really understand. Told us 3 different prices, to then ring me again and give another price and then the delivery driver turned up with a different price altogether! Called restaurant to find out whats happened, after a very lengthy and difficult conversation the woman SCREAMS at us " YOU NO CALL AGAIN " so I haven't, I've gone to Lee's Takeaway on Whitchurch road and the food is FAR FAR BETTER and the service is amazing. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!
This chinese take away in Cardiff is my favourite place to eat in the world. Firstly the food, its honest tasty and good. My comfort food is always, Pancake roll,fried rice or chicken fried rice if its my birthday, curry sauce and barbecued spare ribs. I always recieve a free something,prawn crackers or, " addictive fortune cookies"!
Secondly the staff. As a customer, I want to be treated like I am special, with respect and as a friend and the staff here certainly show me that.
There is a relatively new member of staff, cook, front of house, delivery driver and general all rounder and I love her so much! Her name is Ginney. She makes my life special and I love her so much!! "She looks after me" and I feel it.
My top tip, the Pancake roll.I eat these where ever I find them in the world and this China garden Pancake roll is very, very special! Only costing a couple of quid,wrapped in a handy grease proof paper bag it becomes the perfect street food to munch on your way home.
Huge portions and the food arrived piping hot. Chicken curry was especially delicious. Would recommend!
Have not used in about 7 years as I moved away from the area. I was passing and ordered some food. It was just like I remembered, food was immense and sweet and sour chicken balls were huge.
We used to order from here all the time, these were are locals for an amazing Chinese. The last 2 times we have ordered from have we have been very disappointed. They have changed everything, down the sauces and food it all tastes different and cheap. They need to go back to the old menu, curry sauce has changed and has gone from sweet to spicy with a horrible taste.. everyone of their chowmeins have changed and they have now out a thick sauce through it which isn't nice at all.
Dreadful flavours. Never had anything as bad before. Fried rice, crispy beef and Chile sauce and chow mein
Some dishes are a bit hit and miss but I always come back.
Collection - Ordered at takeaway. Only 10-15mins wait.
Vegetable Chow Mein, Singapore Chow Mein, Salt and Chilli Chicken and chips. Prawn Crackers thrown in free.
Food was delicious. Definitely will be ordering from them again!
