My taste buds went on a wild ride. While the peri peri chips weren't a letdown in the traditional sense, they were unexpectedly soft instead of the anticipated crispiness. However, the mixed chilli and mayo combo added a zesty kick that helped elevate the overall experience.
As for the main event, the chicken was a bit of a letdown, a bit dry for my liking, and those wings? They were as bland as a beige wall. But hey, credit where it's due, the service was lightning fast, and the place was cleaner than my nan's kitchen. Chicken Mews might not be hitting all the high notes, but it's still a decent spot for a fried chicken fix. Just be prepared for a bit of a flavour rollercoaster.
The best place of chicken in Bristol. I even travel for this place always and staff never let me down. I'm always happy with the yummy food. Very clean and the chicken is very tasty ???? even 100% better than KFC.
Easily the best place I have found (after many years!) for fried chicken in Bristol- halal too. Clean and bright inside and friendly service. The lunchtime deals (12-4pm) for £2.49 are great value too!
Food is always fresh and consistent. I have been going here quiet a bit and deserves the 5 stars. Staff and friendly, really good chicken.
The chips are best eaten fresh, lovely in fact when so. They don't seem to travel too well.

Great place for fried chicken and.l9ve the spicy fries (similiar to paprika), my goto now.
This is THE BEST fried chicken EVER, the food is outstanding, the southern fried chicken batter is soo crispy. I wont go anywhere else to get my chicken. Everyones really friendly, the foods always ready to collect on time. You get good portion sizes and today we got an extra 6 spicy wings for free.
Bbq wrap had far too much sauce inside... apart from that it was good
I spent £40 and all I asked for is 4 wings to be covered in bbq sauce and they didn’t. No option to buy it etc. most Stores look at the delivery notes and go the extra mile when it’s big order Seems this place doesn’t like to. Won’t using again.
