Legendary, but cash only. Best Chinese I've had for decades.
MENU had rice or chips included crossed out so boiled rice extra with the tiniest portion of beef satay imaginable. Used to be good there. Last time I go there just because it's nearest to home. Stick to town where they have to be competitive
Great Chinese takeaway. Handy for parking too when popping in for collection.
What a waste of money. The meal went directly into the bin. Curry sauce was watered down so no flavour whatsoever. Sweet and sour chicken balls were raw with the sauce tasting like a bowl of sugar. Egg fried rice was burnt with what looked like snot hanging off the rice. Prawn toast did not taste of anything it was plain fried bread. Chips were greasy. A total disaster. Was not going to risk eating it for fear of food poisoning. Stay clear of this place.
Prawn toast was disgusting, just tasted like fried bread. No sesame seeds and no prawn. Rest of the food wasn’t much better.
Thought we'd try somewhere different for a change!! Won't change again. First visit here and it will definitely be our last. As a family of four we spent £36 here and i ended up eating a bowl of Heinz tomato for my tea instead. My partner had Jacobs crackers with cheese. The duck in plum sauce was dry, hard and tasteless with no sauce on it. Never been to a Chinese and known this before, sauce being separate and COLD. Sweet and Sour chicken Cantonese style was soggy and tasted like it was soaked in vinegar. The chips, we all tried one and ate no more of those. The chicken satay skewers were marinated in something that could not be satsy. How this takeaway is still in business is beyond me. Not one of us could compliment any of the food. Not one of us. Never been in this situation before, ever. The hygiene may say 5 but my experience is the food is zero. Gutted ☹️
Really nice staff, pleasant and helpful. The food was delicious. Definitely one of the best Chinese takeaways in the Scarborough area. This place was recommended by a friend, and in glad we tried it. We'll definitely be using it again.
The portions are far too small for the price just enough for a child the chips were nearly black and dry and you don’t get many in the bag, so not value for money.
