It’s convenient but I agree with some of the comments regarding the blonde lady. She is indeed very rude, abrupt and unfriendly. She does not seem to like her job and not good at customer care. Her attitude doesn’t make me want to go back although the other members of the staff, the elderly gentleman and the lady with the brown hair are both very helpful and friendly.
There is an older blonde lady who is extremely rude (Refused to give me her name, so that’s what we’re calling her).
I’ll chalk my extra star up to my respect for Mrs Patel and the lovely red headed woman who is usually at the till.
To the rude blonde woman who asked me “Why did you buy medication if you didn’t think it would work?” After literally being recommended the medication, BY THE PHARMACY for a condition I said I categorically didn’t have, 24 hours earlier. I’d suggest getting into a profession that doesn’t require grace, candor or a duty of care. You’re not very good at it, Ma’am.
I would not recommend for a diagnosis; if you can’t get a GP appointment or 111 isn’t helpful, I will simply tell you what the pharmacy told me today after 20+ years, “Don’t come back here for advice then.”
Thank you, I simply will not x
Extremely convenient for locals. I can just walk in for flu jab instead of waiting for weeks when trying to book one at Boots nearby.
The staff are very friendly and helpful who are always warm welcoming.
I just love stepping into the pharmacy either picking up my prescriptions or buying stuffs in need.
Indeed making the Kidbrooke a nicer community to live in.
I’ve used this pharmacy several times since it’s my local and I find some staff to be quite unhelpful in the sense that they don’t actually listen to the issue and pushes what they think is best (which rarely ever is)
For example, I needed eye drops for a reoccurring eye infection asap as I was going away and didn’t have time to see my doctor and they gave me generic over the counter ones. However I went to Blackheath Village phamarcy and described the same issue and they gave me the actual drops that I needed. This has happened on more than one occasion with different issues. I appreciate that I don’t have a degree in pharmaceuticals however I’m quite in tune with my needs and would find it helpful if I could actually get what I needed from my local pharmacy.
I actually go out of my way to not go to this one now.
If I could give less than one star, I would. Avoid if you do not have a physical prescription on your hands, as they do not know how to operate prescription that send by email/fax.
This is a closest pharmacy to where I leave, but I always have problems with them.
My doctor sends them the prescription always using the same email address and some times repeat it by fax. A lot of times, they are not able to find my prescription. To be honest, it us down to one particular person, as I noticed, that other staff members could operate the system better. But I gave up to play this lottery.
The staff require some education in how to use computers or fax.
Also, I am not sure where from comes all these positives reviews, as people who I know from Kidbrook community are not happy with this pharmacy, but cursed to stick with it, as no close options around (especially if you have a kid)
Unprofessional.
Great local pharmacy, with a fantastic team who are helpful and always friendly. They take the time to order in items that they don't usually stock and provide a variety of services, including flu jabs, repeat prescriptions and consultations in private. Many thanks for all your hard work!
Collected prescriptions several times. Staff couldn't be more helpful. Excellent group
Have had such a lovely experience with Chemcare Pharmacy. Yesterday I went to my GP and needed a prescription filled for my little one. Unfortunately, it was pouring with rain and an Uber was going to get me to the pharmacy after 6pm. I called the pharmacy and the pharmacist took the details over the phone and stood outside in the pouring rain for 10 minutes to make sure my infant had her medication. I cannot stress enough how lucky I feel to have such an incredible business located in our community. They truly go above and beyond.
