Went there with a friend for afternoon tea. The Brasserie overlooks the Harbor inlet. Service was slow… took several minutes and 3 requests to get water. Tea and dessert were ok, nothing memorable. Would likely skip this and find another spot in Implerial / Chelsea Harbor for a tête-à-tête.
Went there with a friend for afternoon tea. Booking was seamless. We went just before Christmas, so the afternoon tea was Christmas themed. We were seated by the glass windows overlooking the Quay-beautiful view. Staff were very polite and attentive, explaining all items served and enquired about allergies. We were also served bubbly/non-alcoholic option as we waited for the tea to be served. Loved the sandwiches. The restaurant boasts beautiful sea-themed decor which was calming. The toilets were beautiful. Overall a great experience.
Went here for a breakfast, but I can't judge the food as we haven't received any. I give it a one star for the view of the Chelsea Harbour. The staff is absolutely overwhelmed, we have been waiting 20 minutes for a high chair, asking probably four times for it. One waiter told us he will bring a food menu, which never arrived, the other said we can go and grab some food ourselves. When asked what the prices are, we also never received any answer. Overall we waited around 40 minutes and just left...
Very fancy place but casual clothes are not frowned upon. Tried the squid. Just a tad rubbery but not greasy. The bread was wonderful! Soft on the inside and crunchy crust with delicious butter!
The real stars were the fish and sides and then the most beautiful orange creme caramel. The strawberry went perfectly with this lovely custard.
Beatrix was a sweet and delightful waitress.
Sunday brunch at Chelsea Harbour Hotel is good value for money. Been there twice and each time thoroughly enjoyed my meal. There was plenty seafood available, variety of salads, roast lamb and beef. Good selection of desert.
Staff were attentive and friendly.
We found it good value and yes busy. Can't see why people complain it is busy. But find an eating place in the area that isn't busy and there would be something really wrong with it! And choosing fish fingers.. is a gourmet meal expected?
We will be going back.
Lunch with a view, on the terrace (not sure about the fake grass surface?) In this very swish and beautifully polished brasserie and hotel. If you have to ask the price of things in life though please think twice and be prepared not to gasp loudly at the bill. Two starters, two sides and a bottle of white was £90, and the wine was £38 of that. . . That is a food rip off in anyone's book surely? Starters were divine and New Zealand Sauv Blanc was delicious.
I went to the Wyndham Grand for lunch and I can honestly say it was a completely forgettable experience. Except for the part when the waitress knocked a glass of Diet Coke over one of my fellow diners. And the part where they made a fuss because he didn't want to give a tip.
I ordered the fish finger sandwich, which managed to be completely bland. It didn't taste of a thing. And it cost £12.
