First time here , bought pork pie, sausage roll, scone and flapjack as takeaway . Lovely place to stop and eat but we were in a rush so chose takeout. Everything was delicious but the porkpie was off the scale . My son who isn’t normally a fan of porkpie loved it.
The best food, absolutely brilliant quality home made produce. Yes it's a bit more expensive than your average outlet but you pay for what you get really. If you like cheap tacky treats then go to tesco on the way
Staying nearby and stumbled onto Chef in the Woods. Their Cream Teas and Pastries were divine, well priced with a fantastic scenery. If you are passing, I would highly recommend this quaint getaway!
Lovely little cafe, great for kids after a muddy trek, friendly staff, and the pork pie was incredible!
I've passed a few times while walking the dog but today I called and took home a pork pie and a cheese and leek roll.. both were so good..I'll walk through brownmoss more often so I can call again..soon!
Excellent. Went for a walk around brown moss and decided to try one of the famous pork pies - it was much bigger than i expected, roughly the size of my palm! Had a cute little set up for seating, which was suitable for most weathers, plenty of bins around and a sweet little shack to order from. Great atmosphere! Hot chocolate was to die for! Lovely treat and was reasonably priced! They also take card!
Wow! Brilliant home made pies, sausage rolls and pasties in a lovely little setting. Everything we had was very high quality. The steak pasty was crammed with tender meat and very tasty gravy. Cakes also very good. To top it off they serve Lost Barn filter coffee. If you're passing Whitchurch would highly recommend. Very picky about where I eat and this is now one of my faves.
This cafe is food heaven. Delicious bacon & black pudding sandwiches, mouth-watering sausage rolls & pork pies and a delectable cheese & leek roll that just melts in the mouth. An essential visit after a walk around the beautiful Mere.
