Absolutely terrible just ordered the mixed kebab the chicken was abit slimey and the kebab wrap was hard and tasted stale. The pie n chips weren't much better. Chucked both in the bin won't be having from here again
Large chips is the size of a small, burger came incorrect and sauces were tiny. Maybe this is just because it was ordered online, not in store. However, that shouldn't matter. 30 quid spent on a £10 takeaway. Absolute joke of a chip shop.
God knows what under kebab meal - tried to say it was jalapeño skin when I had none in my meal. Avoid.
Never have i been so shocked in my life at a chippy, my experience is like no other as the members of staff were very inconsiderate at my order choice, a simple fishcake and chips. could they do that? no. they tried to make me order something else as they couldnt be bothered to cook anything else. thank you.
Been charged 50p for card payments as ordered 1 peace of chicken and mayonnaise they put charge on card payments when it's been banned in UK 8 YETAS AGO, GOT MY CHICKEN LOADED WITH MAYONNAISE ON TOP NO FORK NO TISSUES BEEN GIVEN HAD TO ASK THEM FOR IT???? Bit sad just been for dinner spent over £18 and then no forks ,5p each bad customer service won’t be going again very shortsighted on owners part not to chuck them in considering he’s charging top dollar for his food
I think a 2-star rating is quite generous and only redeemed by the fact that the lady on the phone was pleasant when we made a complaint. The food was awful. We spent £12 to feed a family of four, two adults and two young children. As soon as we got the food and tasted the first chip we could tell there was something off. The chips had CLEARLY been reheated from earlier in the day, I'm not saying they were reheated in a microwave,but they had that same dry and spongy, chewing on cardboard texture you get from reheating day old chips. The "Chicken meat" we ordered, presumed to be Chicken tikka was way over seasoned to the point it tasted like salt and not much else, worrying when you are eating chicken, hopefully not to mask anything unsavoury or dangerous... So we rang the takeaway to let them know. The lady my partner spoke to was pleasant,offered a refund which we didn't take. But what stuck out was what I presume to be the owner in the background accusing us of lying and saying there was nothing wrong with the food! As someone who has had some exceptional chippies in my time, this ranks as bar none the worst I've ever had. Don't care about the refund, I just hope the owner gets their act together and realises that it's better to try and please the customers as much as possible and not serve them reheated food, nevermind arguing with them when they are unsatisfied. Not good enough. Try the food you are serving yourself before serving customers! 2 stars, but only thanks to your staff redeeming you a point for being polite. We did not consume the food and the kids had beans on toast.
Bang average fish chips and curry cost £11.85. the waitress tried to talk me out of the fish as it seem like too much mither to prepare the fish? I thought that was what fish dinner was all about...fresh fish. That's before I saw the cost! ???? Won't be going back ..
