Cosy friendly homely town centre cafe offering comfort food for all. Very reasonable prices too. I chose a late breakfast of eggs benedict. It was delicious, I will be back that's for sure.
We turned up today , a family of 10, thinking they wouldn't be able to fit us in. To our surprise the lovely lady moved all the tables around for us, welcomed us in, took our orders very quickly, drinks came out super fast. Food came out all on time together. Food was fantastic. Some ordered full English breakfast, some ordered Sunday dinner and some had mince and dumplings, as well as homemade chips. staff were absolutely brilliant. We all felt welcome as we celebrated our Christmas get together as we are from different towns. The staff member also brought over colouring in sheets and pencils for my 3 year old and a high chair. Thank you so much for making this happen for us at such short notice. Merry Christmas to your staff. Xxx
Lovely home made food , always hot , friendly quick service at a reasonable price , eat here whenever we’re in town. You couldn’t ask for more .

A pleasant little cafe in South Shields. Nothing out of the ordinary in the menu - just good no nonsense dishes. I'd no complaints with my full breakfast.
Staff are pleasant and attentive. I would go again if in South Shields.
Food was awful . The curry was disgusting. More like Spanish chicken . The chicken sandwich smelt off and the chicken nuggets were dry and old . The only nice things were the milkshake and the home made chips .not be going back in a hurry.
Poor amount of food for a £7.50 main course. What I actually did have was nice but a small amount for an adult main meal.
Good Sunday roast, plenty of veg and gravy. Yorkshire pudding just right
