Best KPortal Reviews
I moved to the area 12mth ago and went from using NHS ENGLAND app - super fast prescriptions process to- dark ages of this pharmacy. My experiences with this pharmacy have never wavered from rude to blatant couldn’t care less- ignorant staff.
I had the misfortune, once again to go collect a prescription for my husband on my day off today. The ‘assistant’ with glasses, light brown shoulder length hair in her early 50s was very dismissive, quite rude, no greeting, no manners, no customer service that I’ve ever been trained/involved in and I work for the NHS..
This assistant advised me, after an eye roll, “she’d have a look”.. she also took my owed slip ( that is a regular occurrence) yet never advised me if I’d have to wait/ she would check? No communication at all!
She then produced a packet which clearly wasn’t the regular script for hubby, I simply pointed that out and I couldn’t believe I was met with such resistance/ disrespect and hostility. This was around 9:10am! So god help customers this afternoon!
I let her know I would call my husband and ask as I stepped aside, informed my husband I’d encountered rude behaviour and zero effort of customer service and only after my comment was she polite and said hello to the next customer waiting. I did mention to him, shame couldn’t have extended that courtesy to me.
This lady is not the only assistant that is regularly rude and I blame the management for not grasping the fact their staff are continually rude/ offensive and disrespectful on a regular basis, enough to force them into action and provide additional training on manners, customer service.
The only reason I’m not raising it with management is because I believe, after reading the copious amounts of bad reviews, they’ve had ample opportunity to take action already and obviously haven’t! Behaviour breeds behaviour and this pharmacy have a very toxic culture within staff/ customer relations
Pharmacies are regulated/ Governed Gpc and are accountable whatever the reason for their actions on a service they provide. I’ll pop onto their website.
If everyone moved to - have prescriptions home delivered by the multiple pharmacies offering these services, these unhelpful rude disrespectful staff would be out if a job. I think they are either too dumb or too blind to see that the customers are the reason they have a job!
I’ll be switching pharmacies and I’d advise others to do the same.
The staff need an overhaul of training to include customer services, manners, respect for starters.. it makes me now wonder if all training is up to date in line with policy?? I only gave 1 star as there wasn’t a 0 option
Shocking pharmacy! Did not deliver vital medication to my elderly mother because they were waiting on some items that had not been ordered by them before sending the vital meds out. Person on the phone was very rude to my mother. Have spoken to the receptionist at her GP’s who has now offered another pharmacy and was disgusted with their behaviour.
No point having a phone if you don’t answer it. Standing in the queue today and the staff were enjoying a lovely natter whilst ignoring me AND the phone. I have rang pretty much for the last day and no answer. Not the best customer experience but that doesn’t seem important for the ladies here who (when you eventually get seen) are generally glum, abrupt and disengaged.
I am at the chemist because I’m unwell - I don’t want cheering up but I wouldn’t mind the person serving me to not make me feel like a total inconvenience.
Really difficult to get through and always long queues in the pharmacy
Staff are nice and always helpful but they seem to be under extreme pressure and have no systems or support in place
Absolutely disgusting service! Phoned to order my repeat prescription 7 days in advance. Pick up my prescription, get home and my blood thinning medication is not in there. Nothing I can now do as it's 6pm. I call the Chemist the next day, may I add 41 times I have had to call as they were not answering their telephone only to be huffed and puffed up by the customer service advisor basically telling me it's my fault, I should have picked up my prescription earlier than 5:30pm as my blood thinners were out of stock, so they could have got from somewhere else if they had known I had run out. Sorry I think giving you 7 days notice is fair game and I also work full time take some responsibility for your mistakes apologise and be done do not put the emphasis back on the customer when they have no control. Will be changing my chemist.
Sadly this pharmacy appears to be very disorganised so if you use it expect to be frustrated and allow plenty of time. Use it too often and you will need blood pressure meds! On a serious note can the manager please seek advice from experts to make the business more efficient and, as a consequence, improve the customer experience.
Very slow never got your prescription always call back in 30 minutes
Sadly, after being a loyal customer for nearly 30 years, I would no longer recommend or use this pharmacy. I fully appreciate the additional strain of a pandemic but as an NHS worker myself, I still expect accuracy and a timely service for my repeat prescriptions. I have not had good service for some time. I called 60+ times this week and still no-one answered. Woeful.
