Cash only
Quite sweet sauces. Good size portions, and their phone was ringing constantly with new orders. Very popular with the local clientele, many of whom are regulars.
It is easy to see why this Chinese is often recommended.
Easy to park out the front of the shop.
Always liked the food here and always over order :) only downside is being cash only can be bit inconvenient as well as frequent prices rises.
Also kids meals need to be a lot smaller, 1 portion of nuggets and chips - nuggets enough for 1 but the chips could feed 3 adults, so have to over order to feed two kids a treat and a bag chips ends up in the bin.
Important thing to say is that it's cash only. Not sure if there is a cashpoint somewhere nearby but be prepared for that. Quick to order and the lady at the cashier was kind. There is free parking in front of the shop and there are some spots to wait inside. I found it a bit expensive for a Chinese takeaway that only accepts cash but I guess we don't have many options in the village and the portions are fair. Food was good, the seasoning is light (I would have loved if it had more flavour though). We spent around £19 and had some free prawn crackers and I've seen someone taking a free bottle of Pepsi (probably because they ordered much more food). Overall good experience to celebrate the Chinese New Year.
Bits of meat in a vegetarian dish is simply not acceptable - neither is an argumentative response when an apology would have sufficed. Will never order food from here again.
Excellent Chinese cash only though be aware of this. Good prices and good portions. I'll be back when in the area! Also near the castle if you want somewhere nice to park and eat it after! ????
First time of using this takeaway and it didn't disappoint.All 5 of my family ordered different things so we could try a bit of each others, every single dish was absolutely amazing.Quick delivery.We much preferred the dishes such as the special chow mein being in separate containers it enabled their own flavours to come through as opposed to being it all tasting the same... Definitely our new Chinese takeaway go to !! Unfortunately One star deducted due to it being cash only Which does cause a bit of an issue as we had to pop out and get some cash....???? Get with the times and get a card reader.
Order every week from them ,I'm allergic to onions so always ask for no onions,got onions last week so not good if allergic to something always double check
