Walked in with my wife on a Saturday evening. Asked a waitress if we could order drinks from the table or do we have to go to the bar? A sharp response being, "it's upto you". Sat for 10 minutes at the table, no service offered. Ordered drinks at the bar, a further 20 minutes wait..... Lovely place, but won't return again on an evening.
Overall I enjoy the vibe of this place and its menu is quite extensive. The flat breads, halloumi wrap and sweetcorn fritters were excellent, I didn't like my burger at all (I didn't eat it and it was removed from the bill). Good customer service and I would come again
Lovely atmosphere..and nice food but the staff need some oooomph!! Maybe just settling in...??
We may have missed a busy period but tables dirty, incomplete, haphazard.
It has real potential but needs a bit of patience....?!
We would still go back though and hope it polishes up...!
Very slow service had to wait around 40 mins for our food which was just starters and one wrap, it wasn't that busy eithier. No apologies received from staff or any acknowledgment. We was not asked if we would like any desserts or coffees nor asked if we would like any condiments to go with our meal. Food was nice but not worth the wait, won't be returning.
Don't turn up early -you have to wait whilst they nip to the garage shop and buy bread for the toast!! I Ask you?! #"$@* Sausage toasty was a joke at £4.00 -2cheap sausages on half toasted small bread ( no option given as to white, wholemeal -granary etc -must not have had much choice at the garage?? Latte in a small cup?? What's that about -and parking is a nightmare! Won't be back any time soon!
1 star hygiene rating? Should of looked before we came and ate here.
Extemmly over priced, looks more like a cafe than a fully priced restaurant, paying nearly £5 a pint and eating something which will leave you feeling utterly disappointed and robbed. Will not eat here again nor advise any friends or family to go unless they wish to be bent over and taste the rear end of this chameleon.
Good food but a little slow with service due to a wedding party which had pre-booked being in as well. Would go again without a doubt.
Fantastic food with a nice ambience, car park right outside. The staff were very attentive as were the management. I'm sure this place will flourish in time.
