On returning home from visiting my partner's mother in Rhymney we stopped for battered sausage and chips with fruity curry sauce. This was the best I've had in years, it was busy but the staff were still friendly, I find if you're polite the staff will be. Will be back next time we are that way. Merry new year.
Hey it was my birthday, big 60 and fancied fish n chips for lunch... as I was in the area stopped in...Now I have no idea why this place only has 3.9 on the ratings....How many places can you honestly say sell cod now days, well cooked and at a reasonable price..Thank you so much for help in making my day, great food and I recommend this place big time
Food always well cooked and the staff aways polite and friendly
£21 for 2x fish and chips. Fish taste like sewerage water. Both ill the next day on the toilet. Probably gone off.
Not the friendliest of places, I have stopped off a few times when in the area and customer skills are poor, chips were lovely and so was the curry, the sausage and batter had minimal batter, cost me £5.70 for can or coke , small sausage and batter chips and curry
Very nice chip shop, friendly staff, one the best chip shop in the area.
i travel from Rhymney for their chips normally buy minced beef pie and chips sometimes gravy.
Bit of advice go before 12 before the children come from the comprehensive school as you be waiting ages to get survey. Or after 1 o clock.
Also the curry's lush!!
Terrible attitude of the woman, I felt like I was inconvenienceing her.
Waited in the que then after speaking to her I decided I would take my trade else where.
I have used this chip shop on and off for years with a hit and miss service but won't be revisiting or recommending
Excellent chip shop, big portions too. Reasonable prices and the gravy is superb!
