Lazy Staff
Won’t allow reports to be made through ( Love Clean Streets ) App which sends reports direct to the council. They make you use their website because they’re too lazy to allocate the problem to the correct department.
Absence ot thinking regarding waste collection of garden refuse subscription service. On line payment not working properly and phone-in payment service rammed so unable to get through. Brilliant work there then !
Had a bulky waste collection this week and really impressed with the whole process. The lady that took my call was really knowledgeable about the service and the man that organised the collection called, organised and retrieved the waste really quickly. The price was approximately £60 for up to 12 bulky items that we would never have been able to dispose of ourselves. The council strip down the items and recycle as much as they can which is brilliant. We’re really pleased especially as most online companies were quoting up to £150 just for the sofa!!
We didn’t know about this service and as we live in an area where fly tipping is rampant it would be good if this was more widely advertised to residents
I have repeatedly reported overgrown bushes and trees to the pathways all along Toddington Rd, Harlington, Dunstable, LU5 6LA which is forcing people to walk into the road way which is very dangerous as the road is narrow with fast moving traffic with blind bends. PLEASE CUT THESE SHRUBS AND TREES BACK
This is what people pay for?????? A completely useless service, this has got to be one of the most useless s### councils in existence and full of lying w###### that say they will do something when they actually don't.
Excellent service extremely helpful, efficient, friendly & professional especially from the very pleasant lady Joan who very kindly explained everything that I needed to do well done keep up the good work.
Arriva and Bedfordshire council have failed to provide a mid to high quality service.
Repeated no shows.
Repeated cancellations.
Blame it on covid the cost of living, fuel, the Ukraine war, the fact of the matter is you have handed over a contract to a German owned company with no interest in serving the British public.
We pay you, our taxes pay for DB Group to provide this ever failing service.
It is time for you to absorb Arriva and turn it into a publicly owned company, we do not need them here anymore ruining our communities, making us poorer, making us unhappier.
You have also failed the public, you owe it to us to update arriva on road closures and route diversions, s9 why is it in Stotfold we went over a week with busses believing they could not follow their usual route when their route is not disrupted by the Astwick road works, even now, a road closed sign is up, and yet cars will continue to drive through it all day, you can blame the contractor doing the work, but ultimately it is on you to maintain that communication between your constituents and the contractor.
It does not seem to matter to yourselves and Arriva that the bus stops are of poor quality, poor advertising of times. It does not seem to matter to you that children and elderly alike are left out in the cold, with minimal shelter across our county, waiting for busses that will never show up. This I'd a failure of your duty to care and as such you are breaching the law, breaching your personal contracts and making a mockery of 'Great' Britain.
Absorb Arriva, make it a public service once again, or do not be surprised when the community take it into their own hands to have a complete overhaul of our local councils, there are certainly people willing to fill those positions to work in the public interest.
Passed from pillar to post if you have all day to waste listening to the put on hold music this is the place
