Great location in southern Snowdonia, great value, and has everything you would need on a campsite. Friendly and welcoming owners.
A beautiful and peaceful spot! Owls and the local stream were pretty much the only noise. Friendly owners and a nice field to stay in. Showers ok, but do bring some 20ps! Thank you for the two nights!
Full marks for the beautiful position of this site, the owners are very nice and live onsite and offers one of the best picturesque views you would find in Wales. A river passes by the pitches and a Meirion Wool shop is just opposite that offers decent Wales crafts.
Nice and convenient campsite in the Dify valley. Ran by lovely people who are very attentive and keen to help with any questions you may have. Good services (toilets, hot showers, dish cleaning area) and walking distance to a cafe and pubs. Great value for money.
Stayed 2 nights last week. The good news, lovely views up to the rhododendron covered hillside, well placed for walking up Maesglase, hotel bar nearby, relaxed owner, surprisingly little road noise at night, friendly on-site caravanners. Disappointing £5.50 for electric hookup, 20p for hot water in shower, no hot water in basin or washing up sink, dirty shower / toilets, even after toilet roll replaced the bin in the toilet was overflowing with used loo-roll tubes. Also, midges (after a long hot period). We won't visit again.
Brilliant small family camping and caravan park very friendly staff with great atmosphere.
Stopped at this campsite whilst attending Redbull Hardline 2022 which is only 1.5 miles away so the location was ideal.
Easy booking process, communication with Isabel was great and simply pay when you turn up.
The host is lovely and the campsite generally is nice.
Two downsides:
1. The toilets/showers are grim.
2. Really need some rules around what time people can turn up (both Friday and Saturday night people with tents turned up after 9pm whilst we were trying to get to sleep and made a racket whilst putting tents up in the dark + car engines running) and two groups of people playing music after 9pm until around 10.30pm which is too late on a campsite that you are sharing with other people.
Fantastic campsite me and my partner have stayed here a few times over the year. Very friendly and welcoming family the area is beautiful plenty to see and do. You have local pubs, shops and it's not a long drive to the towns and beaches. You get a lovely greeting off the cows and chickens especially baby lambs I will definitely be returning this year ????
