Lovely bakery and although not 'sweet' people we can't miss their delicious scones. Great service and happy to put by and service is always with a smile.
Lovely bakery shop with tempting goods, I bought spelt bread which was delicious,and a cherry/fruit cake which looked equally nice, HOWEVER,
As I was eating a slice I found a large stone/piece of grit in the slice , I returned the cake label with the stone and a covering letter on 11th November to the shop manager, to date I have yet to receive a reply/apology!! Needless to say I have not wanted to eat more of the said cake.
Not good customer service !!!!!
I visited Much Wenlock just after Xmas and I just have to say that the cakes we bought from this bakery were fantastic. We just wish they would open an outlet in the Isle of Wight, they would be inundated with customers, the texture and taste were really lovely and we just wanted more and more.
Quality baking - bread, rolls, biscuits etc and design-your-own sandwiches - all at very fair prices. Great place.(Visitors from New Zealand).
Pre-ordered sandwiches for walking group of 20 and the service was excellent. Sandwiches were delicious with loads of filling. Cakes went down well too.
Great 'make your own' sandwiches - My favourites are the Crusty Rolls and the granary loaf! Perfect little bakery in the heart of Much Wenlock.
