A great place for a basic lunch. Nothing fancy, just food done well. Sandwiches and a cup of tea or coffee. Just what you need after a morning round the shops.
Phoned them for an afternoon tea at short notice after an unexpected visit to Carlisle, couldn't do usual, but what they did provide was excellent and beautifully presented, would def go again, very recommended!
Had lunch here yesterday. The food is delicious, nice fresh homemade food. Caramel shortbread is devine. Service very good.

Served by friendly staff as well. The menu is really diverse, they serve all sorts of food including unique items like a spiced apple scone which my fiancé took out to eat, though I don’t know if that’s just a one off thing. He had the soup special and I had a sausage cheese panini. Both equally tasty. If back in Carlisle will definitely call in again.
