Absolutely fantastic garage, honest, good prices and real personal touch to every job. My whole family use them and I have taken multiple different cars here with multiple different issues (none of which Mercedes). They talk you through quotes and why certain things need doing. Tell you what is needed, what is recommended alongside this, and the reasons why.
Sometimes can’t get through on the phone as they are very busy, but leave a message and you will 100% get a call back. I now live 2 hours away but still use them as I have family who live near-bye, always a quick turn around and fair quotes, have never let me down with their service and general advice, even if not using them for that specific job, always happy to help with recommendations and the aftercare is great. They also dropped my car to the other side of Dorchester to make my life easier. Things like this just top off the already 5* service.
If you’re looking for a garage to trust and build a relationship with, this is the place to go, would recommend them to anyone and give more than 5* if I could!
I had a suspected leak on my Mercedes C220 showing "coolant top up required" but I was unable to locate any problem. Roger performed an inspection and located the issue straight away and conducted a repair. Very friendly and courteous garage that I would strongly recommend. Maybe one of the few remaining old school "professional"garages that clearly do exemplary work. Thank you Roger & the team for solving my problem! I will return for my vehicles next scheduled service!
Roger and the team were so helpful at short notice. They diagnosed electrical faults with my car, which another garage had failed to do, carried out the necessary repairs, and our car was ready for collection in no time at all. My wife and I are so grateful as the car had caused us a great deal of distress over several months. The service we received was second to none, very good communication and a sympathetic ear. We really didn’t expect this kind of service in this day and age. We shall be using Casterbridge forever more, and Id recommend the garage to anyone. Thank you Casterbridge, great job.
