Enjoyed my Moroccan breakfast. Friendly service.
I was full but didn't feel heavy like when I have an English breakfast. Taktoukan went really well with everything.
What a fantastic treat for breakfast. An authentic taste of Morocco shared by the most genial and talented Moroccan owner and the polite young boy. The breakfast we took was of honey M’saman and Almond butter M’saman served with Turkish tea and fresh orange juice. The delightful Moroccan breakfast of an assortment of eggs, olives etc was flavourful. My Mum enjoyed the onion, cheese and tomato omelette too. Many sweet treats, pastries, honeys and spreads to swoon over too, but we were satiated at the end of breakfast. We plan to return for lunch and try the feta/spinach pastries, the soups and last but not least, the tagines . Thank you for such a welcoming, thoughtful and uplifting breakfast.
Never had better pastries. This wonderful family owned cafe is so amazing. The pastries are so fresh and full of flavour. Could not stop ordering! Staff are so nice especially this sweet woman who owns it with her husband. I was blown away by this food. Please come here. You will not regret it. The baklava was to die for. The beef pastry and Moroccan pizza are so fresh and we’re so good I ordered for take out as well. The baklava was so sweet and crunchy and fresh. The staff were so friendly and literally the best cafe I’ve ever been too. I love this place so much. The food you will not be a one to stop eating.
Everything about this place I would rate more than 5 stars if I could. I can’t believe it’s the first time I visited today. Why haven’t I been here before? I went especially to try the Msemmen having heard so much about it since my travels to Morocco. It made me feel like I was right back in Morocco. The Msemmen were made freshly whilst I waited. The service was even more impeccable. The owner was so warm, cheerful and welcoming. I was so impressed and this is definitely going to be a regular spot for me. Taking all my family the next time I have to go. Also tried their baklava which was so fresh and tasty!
Overall food was good. Visited Friday morning with my wife.
Moroccan breakfast was nice.
Muffin with chicken and sausage was nice reasonably priced items.
The only think is the Moroccan chicken could do with a little salt.
The date biscuits were nice soft and tasty.
Friendly staff and great service
Lovely cafe, the service is quick and food and drinks are tasty. We had a delicious halal English breakfast and it was excellent.
The owner is friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend.
A hidden gem in leicester. Nice vibe, lovely ambience and great food. The bread and desert is amazing. The owner lady is very warm and welcoming. It’s also reasonably priced. Would definitely visit again
