My mum had her papers from here for years, always friendly and could pay papers via bank transfer.
Lovely staff. Parking can sometimes be a bit awkward. It requires you to park on one side of road which effectively takes up a whole lane. When you pull out to leave you're sometimes forced onto the wrong side of the road if lots of cars are parked up and you're heading toward the Carleton Road junction. A car can then suddenly come around the corner towards you.
A decent amount of items stocked considering the small(ish) size of the store. Even taking into account the very high rate of inflation & also the state of our economy,the cost of living & the fact this is a local convenience store the prices are still astronomical.
I work here as a paper boy and Paul the owner is so nice and treats all of us well with high pay for my age 13 sells everything you could possibly think off and even delivers papers
Sadly not my local shop - I called in to collect a parcel and was very impressed with the welcome and kindness of the staff. I’ve dropped in a few times since, when passing, and been served by different staff - but always the great welcome and genuine engagement ????
Friendly and fast service. This place was used to drop off a parcel for UPS delivery via eBay. The photo already on google is correct, however the location shown on google maps is incorrect
