Their cod and chips are amazing. Freshly fried and pipping hot. My uncle of 88 years of age, regularly requests a take away from there. Their customer service is warm and extremely helpful. Very well done Carlton Fryer!
First time buying from this place again after a good few years and they did it disappoint. The cod was actually one of the best I’ve had in a while from fish&chips shops. The batter was cooked all the way through and not soggy inside. It was crispy and the fish fully cooked. The chips werent too oily. The pies were good. The portions are perfect and the price is really good. generally a bit cheaper than most places. id recommend. the staff was welcoming and nice.
Top lads and top food. Battered sausage is amazing here. Not like anywhere else.
Best kebab place I've found!
This is the place to eat if you don't fancy cooking, portion sizes are absolutely huge, very friendly staff always the best service, I would highly recommend but don't take my word for it go and see for your self, I can assure you won't be disappointed, always very busy so that speaks volumes!
Always lovely food. Fish and chips, cheeseburgers are our usual. Looking forward to the chicken kebab next week as well. Highly recommended.

By a mile, the best fish & chips in Nottingham. Really tasty, well cooked, zero grease. The queues speak for themselves. Owners are polite & friendly, couldn't ask for more!
best guys around, has been my local chippy since i was a kid and they’re always absolutely lovely and welcoming. They often remember my order and have opened the shop early for me before on cold winter days so i can stand inside. Always go above and beyond with great food too!
