I’m so disappointed, I’m Jamaican and I’m actually shocked at how dry and plain the food is. The dumpling should be nice and crispy but it’s soft on the outside. I was looking forward to eating the Mac and cheese but the Mac and cheese coming like it was cooked a week ago, then got put into a freezer and then warmed up and served for me. The mac and cheese has no flavour at all. Worse max and cheese I’ve ever tasted. Ontop of that I order Victoria cake they gave me some type of cheese cake. The only two things that is decent is the rice and peas and the fries. I paid £24 for all of this to be disappointed.
There's a distinct lack of home cooked vegan food on Sellyoak high street. So i was pleased when caribbean twist opened their doors.
I've bought food from this take out place twice now, I'm sad to say there's been no improvement in either staff service or portion sizes. Practically half a container of food for £7 and management could do with lessons in customer service.
I wont be buying from here again. Its a real shame as the food is delicious.
this place is a mess. Mac and Cheese was a block of mush with no flavour whatsoever. The curry goat was sloppy and the rice and peas was shockingly flavourless with no colour. The best thing about the order was the bread which was at least warm.
Right about Caribbean “twist”, because there’s nothing Caribbean about it. I’m trying to comprehend why you think it’s acceptable to give out a pot off oil with I have no idea what type off fatty substance as gravy and two scoops of rice with not even a spoon off veg for £13. Awful.
Is there any flour of any type or anything containing gluten in the rice n peas that comes with jerk chicken? No number so can’t call. Please reply!!! This is a health question. It felt like there is. Am I correct? Thanks

Delivery was good ( Shouldbe it’s less than a mile away )
Food was Luke warm
Plantain stone cold
Mac and cheese was like spicy chewing gum
Curry goat has a little flavour just stone cold
Must have forgotten to put it in the microwave
I specified no rice or chips
So I got extra cold sauce
Even the chewy Mac and cheese had 2/3 portion
Ox tail was interesting . No flavour
Thoroughly dissapointed
£28 wasted

The pea soup was not great. I do pray for a better experience next time. Real Jamaican food is not thrown together with artificial, seasoning and tinned peas.
