I tried the vegetarian for takeaway today. Delicious! Truly Caribbean street food. The plantain was my favourite. Well-sized portion, great value for money, and great flavors. Owner is super friendly ????
The owner is a top guy and a very friendly man. For the cheap price of less than £10, you can afford the luxury and thrills of Jamaican cuisine. As well as hefty portion sizes, the delectable jerk chicken and curry goat are accompanied with a sense of home which is simply unmatched. The decadent platter of jerk chicken has a symphony of flavours which exhilarate the senses and the curry goat has an incredibly moreish and brackish. I highly recommend for those who are looking for a cheap and tasty lunch, those who like to branch out and also for those going on an excursion to the market, as it is a great spot in Chelmsford!

Truly excellent home cooked genuine Caribbean food. I had jerk chicken with rice and peas and coleslaw. The chicken was hot and freshly cooked with a lovely jerk sauce with the right amount of spice, cooked by friendly chef Ben. Highly recommend this if you are in town - a generous portion size to boot for under a tenner (plus some good tunes in the backgroud). Will be back. T
Ben who runs it is a really nice fella! He catered for a funeral I attended and the food was 10/10! The curried goat was really tender and full of flavour.
I've only given 4 stars for the food as I had to put some hot sauce on my curry goat .... if you're used to yard food you'll know what I mean other than that it was delicious!!!
My son's friend came around and has never tried Caribbean food before.... he's currently eating what I could not as the portion size was quite big... he's a picky eater and usually refuses to try new things but I think you've definitely won him over

Me and my husband and friends visited here this morning, the food is outstanding. I highly recommend you all coming down to try his incredible unique tasting food, friendly service also!
