So much better now it's under new management, great team and pharmacist working hard in there, very helpful even though it's flu season which means extra pressure.. but best of all is the delivery service they provide. The driver is so friendly and efficient, what a lovely lady!
The worst pharmacy, staff lied to me and still denied it when called out about it. Horrendous service, even worse stock. Go elsewhere don't waste your time at this place. They should be ashamed of themselves.
I have had a wonderful experience at this pharmacy. Lovely advice given by Debi and she directed me to the best solution to my problem and thankfully the medication recommended worked a treat. Nothing was too much trouble and I will be definitely coming back to this pharmacy again.
The service at this chemist continues to decline. The only saving grace is one of the front counter staff (dark haired lady with Newcastle accent), who works tirelessly to try and keep things running. She appears to be the only constant in the chaos.
Medications are often out of stock, meaning you are required to return to the location. Each wait can be around 20-30 minutes, as only 2 people are permitted inside the shop at any given moment. You will often be greeted with a line of half a dozen people, huddled outside in all weather conditions. Attempt to step inside for shelter and you are barked out of the shop by some staff. Put an awning up at the very least.
There appears to be no management of the branch, that I have seen. I have asked Lloyds corporate for a plan of recovery and timeline, and should this not be reasonable, I will simply elect another local chemist.
Only 2 members of staff in there that are polite. The rest are rude and ignorant. The "pharmacist" never seems to turn up .. or pops out whenever he/she fancies. And they never seen to be open when they are supposed to be. Been twice in one day, once at 8.20 & they was shut although they supposedly open at 8am. And again at half 2 in the afternoon for it to be shut because the pharmacist has left. All the staff locked inside with a hand written note on the door saying "closed"
What an awful pharmacy
I visited the chemist today to get my prescription, obviously had to queue (as we have to everywhere in this climate) for 10 minutes until the northern lady came out in the rain to collect our names , she took all 10 went back inside to look .I watched as her and her colleague looked for prescriptions and delivered and got rid of most the queue immediately! You can totally see they are short staffed and under pressure, but she stayed polite and as friendly as ever! So Thank you , well done and keep up the good work.
The lady that served us was very kind but the other woman didn’t really know what to do.
Why is this place always soo slow? Apart from the short brunette lady, all of them are just plain ignorant. They ignore you, make you wait while they chat in the back like is tea break. Also the young man is not very polite, always complaining and gossiping in front of us like we’re not even present. Once he was in his colleague’s face complaining that he is soo sick and hangover on and on for the whole 30 min I’ve been there. I don’t know how his work colleagues stand him. I just wanted to scream in his face to go home already. Unprofessional behaviour.
