For me personally and I’d bet money on 95% of Cambell’s customers also feeling the same way as me, thinking it’s the best Chemist on the Wirral. I’d like to say a 100% but you’re always going to have your moaners in life who can’t be pleased I suppose. Not that I have ever witnessed in there a situation where someone is kicking off for one reason or another, like I have seen many times in other Pharmacy’s over the years when I’ve lived in different areas. Instead it’s like going to see a friend of the family who just happens to work in the Chemist.The front of house staff are worthy of a pride of Britain award in my opinion. They always go above and beyond what is expected from them in so many ways and genuinely care about their customers. I honestly couldn’t tell you how many people I have seen in there who have a similar relationship with them as I do. Many of which will have known them longer than I have. Mentioning no names but if you use Cambell’s you’ll know who I mean but that particular lady I believe has been working there for over 45 years, so you can just imagine the amount of people she has gotten to know over the years.
So for those of you who don’t know the chemist it’s unique from what you tend to have set up in most modern pharmacy’s these days and at first glance you might think you’ve walked into a toy / hardware shop selling a whole bunch of different toys for under 12 year olds, all your general household cleaning products, hair and beauty supplies, pet food, sweets, basic handy to have items like bulbs, needle and cotton, tape, padlocks, candles and everything else that you would expect to get from your local pharmacy. So you will have customers that when they were kids used to come in to the chemist probably thinking it’s a sweet and toy store asking there mother if they could have a particular toy from the shelf or some sweets maybe who now have their own children asking the same thing when they take them there. This will be the same for a lot of people and they all had the same person who took care of their needs and formed their own different relationships with her. It’s quite special to have when you think about it especially in the world we live in today but don’t get me wrong because there’s are plenty of other local businesses in the area who have great friendly staff who do all they can for their customers. I just feel that Cambell’s is just that extra special and I say that for myself and for those other 95% too. Not to take anything away from the hard work that goes on at the back of the chemist by the way .
So what you can expect if you should decide to change chemist is ;
Quick as they can waiting time, I’m usually served within 3 minutes but if I have time I will always have a quick chat
Go out of their way to chase prescriptions should there be any problems and I’ve seen them calling the doctors and work out best solutions for their customers,
Fantastic telephone reminder calls to people who need to pick up their prescription that day,
Great home delivery service
Outstanding sympathetic listening and best advice given should it be needed
It doesn’t just go in one ear and out the other even with their busy schedule throughout the day. They always remember you and ask how things went. You’ll see this for yourself honestly and I’m sure there’s a few other things that they will do for you that I had no idea about and that’s why it’s unique.
So thank you Cambell’s Chemist staff for everything you have done for me over the years.

Dispensing lady lovely. Pharmist not helpful told me he couldn't get another supply being a low dosage, which I know you can, I have been getting them for years. Moving chemist.
really good compnay , friendly staff and loyatly to a T .the building its self is far too small and number of staff needs boosting due to so many people in and out, there is always room for improvement but very good at dealing with the struggle of medication . i cant fault them . ive been living here for 5 years and am pleased with my service overall good care round .

I have been coming to this chemist on and off for over 30 years. Recently my mum was having difficulties at her previous chemist . So I popped in to see the same friendly staff always willing to go that one step more for all there customers . Now my mum is back in safe hands and they have taken a lot of pressure of me

Lovely friendly pharmacy, staff are fantastic, wonderfully old school, lots of shelves stacked with all sorts of things, just a great place.
