Prices are a disgrace! 2 ham rolls to take away, £5.50. And to top it off, the ham used was obviously the cheapest of the cheap supermarket prepacked of which only 3 slices were used. Barely even enough to taste. 1st and last visit here. Maybe prices and quality are better for sit-in service, but ignore the sign out front, do not use for take away food.
Excellent stop off point in St Cyrus. Wonderful cakes and scones. Friendly staff and a wee shop with gift ideas.
I have driven past this establishment many times. Today, however, I went in, courtesy of my aunt with my wife and three young children. High chair was available, easy to operate. Toys/books made available. Fine selection of cakes but wisely not drowning in over supply. Plenty, but not too many. Good wide choice for most tastes, service was good and prompt. But, to my main point: this is one of the best coffee shops I have been in for some time. Often, they disappoint me. The apple cake and hot chocolate I had were simply delicious. Very very nice - thinly sliced apples, just enough cinnamon, nicely drizzled with icing. Also exchanged some of said apple cake for a taste of some of my wife's Spanish doughnut, very light and lovely. Also acted as"the bin" for my daughter's chocolate cup cake. Equally light and tasty. Very impressed with the quality of food here folks. Hot chocolate was very well constructed and tasty too, again, frequently disappointed in other places, but not here. The froth on top did not dissolve! Will hopefully be back at the earliest excuse! The milkshake seemed to meet with approval as well!
Had lunch here yesterday. Food is amazing. All home made. Strawberry tarts were to die for ???????? Service was excellent. Very friendly staff. Glad we've moved nearby!

Cheesecake to die for, beautiful and clean with beautiful people running it too! Icing on the cake (excuse the pun!) a selection of local crafts displayed for sale. Totally gorgeous!! Thank you for the fun chatter and hope the new venture grows bigger and bigger!
Breakfast was good and the toasties, oh did I mention the amazing cheesecake?
I had a delicious bowl of scotch broth, an ok-ish ham & cheese toastie and a 'to die for' slice of homemade nut cake. All washed down with a 3 cup pot of tea. Worth a visit.
There's a little gift/craft area at the back too. Disabled access, disabled toilet.
You can pay on card too.
Excellent little coffee shop, tasty breakfast rolls and lunches. The cakes are made in house and go great with a cup of coffee. Highly recommended!
Friendly staff. Great coffee! And I've never seen eclairs like theirs! Wish I'd taken a photo.
