Best KPortal Reviews
Wonderful place, cosy welcoming atmosphere with warm friendly staff and lovely food.
Stumbled into the place by chance on a wet and windy day to celebrate mum birthday... couldnt have been more pleased with the way they treated us both. And we got a free slice of cake. Fab unique place... we will be back xx
Went in after record store day for a refreshment and some breakfast. The shop was well furnished with a nice atmosphere comfortable seating and friendly staff.
Had a coffee and some rarebit . Coffee wasn't bad, not the best coffee I have ever had but arguably not the worst. Price was average for a coffee. Hot milk was a nice touch.
The rarebit which is essentially fancy cheese on toast felt a bit expensive for what I had. Although tasty and from previous reviews they use local produce, I can understand a slightly increased price . But at £8.50 for a single slice I felt it was a bit steep.
I can't fault the taste of it nor the presentation. The crops were nice too though I'd have liked a few more. And the chutney and coleslaw was also nice yet again not enough. I feel like either 2 rounds would suffice or a lower price. Hence why I'm only giving it a 4/5. Otherwise the place was really nice and I would visit again.
Great coffee, atmosphere and food. This small cafè is a hidden gem in North Wales.
Friendly staff. Beautiful well presented food. Cute little place, with lots of quirky decor to peruse at. Many thanks for the wonderful service. Maybe a small place, but it has the best bacon toastie with the homemade bread. Divine.
This is a fabulous, quirky cafe in Mold. Flintshire N Wales.
If you are in the area it is well worth the visit. It's small but the staff are amazing and very friendly. Rob, the owner is an excellent chef. Often making his own food, bread and the like.
For a warm welcome I highly recommend trying it out. Mags
I love coming to this quintessential cafe in Mold, there’s nothing else like it, and on top of that the food is excellent and freshly cooked. The Cob breakfast is amazing and good value for money and if you like different Rob makes lovely inventive recipes like his feta and seaweed omelette extremely tasty. The whole place is very friendly and welcoming. Oh and amazing coffee! I will definitely be back.
What a beautiful little cafe! I’d been recommended this place by a friend, & wow it did not disappoint! Gorgeous cafe, beautiful decor, lovely vibes & service, but most of all the breakfast was amazing! Highly recommend ???? thank you, Lou xx
We visited for the first time today, and it certainly won't be our last.
We had the full breakfast cob and a cappuccino, and a halloumi and red onion panini with a flat white.
Both were delicious and generous portions.
The prices are very keen indeed. Especially when you consider the coffee is free with the breakfast. £12.50 for a delicious breakfast and a decent coffee is an absolute steal these days.
We like to use small local businesses, as we are one ourselves. We think we've just found our new breakfast haunt, and look forward to coming back.
The sign on the door says the welcome Welsh speakers. Dwi'n dysgu Cymraeg. Tro nesaf, yn ymarfer siarad!
