Good English breakfast and brunch toasts. Good wifi connection. I had to stay there 3 hours waiting for my train time. Staff was friendly and she did not mind the long stay.
brunch was good, and additional birthday cake was served for my wife ????????
I am surprised to see the reviews.
Underated place. The staff noticed me quickly and was tidy. It was huge place. Menu was inexpensive and rather good coffee and treats.
Came in about 12:30 and ordered and English breakfast as that was the only food on the menu besides prepackaged sandwiches and a couple of pastries that were left from the morning. Was told told they stopped serving them at 12. So my son ordered a coffee and we asked when they closed so we could come back for tea after going up the street for pizza. She told us they close at 4:20. We went and got food elsewhere and came back around 2-2:30. She said they were closed now. The I saw her bring out two EBs to a table. Not sure what the deal was but couldn’t recommend.
Cheapest breakfast in the area considering the plate size. It was just one fixed breakfast of sausage, bacon, beans, hashbrown, eggs, toast, mushroom for 7 something. They do vegetarian as well. There were different versions of croissants, toasts and paninis. And if you want to have a taste of large variety of things they bring all on a cake stand. That is the best deal if you have time and on big appetite. You get hot drink, cold drink, sandwiches, paninis, cakes on one stand. Good for a whole day of laptop work, study or watching movies along with food. Bad points: needs patience because one waitress works on guest floor. Best point: the menu was explained well and good deal were suggested.
This place was awful! Waited for our food for it to be stone cold and the egg was hard and not runny and there was no bacon and the hash browns were soggy. My tea was frothy and I’m not sure why.. definitely didn’t drink it! Plus the owners kids were running around screaming which was frustrating and I couldn’t eat my food with the amount of noise and the smell of dirty pickled onion monster munch coming from the kids mouth was off putting whilst trying to eat what was a very s*** breakfast.
