A great wee cafe in Arisaig that offers wide selection of treats on the menu. We have only ever been in for lunch or snacks however in the summer season they also offer meals some evenings. My only complaint is that sometimes so busy in the summer that you can't get a seat.
We had a delicious no-nonsense takeaway breakfast on the picnic tables by the water. I had poached eggs on toast. Lovely fresh bread and runny orange yolks.
My wife and I dropped into Café Rhu for a light meal. My wife had a delicious vegetable chilli and I had soup and a sandwich plus a very tasty cup of black coffee. The food was excellent and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The location of the café could hardly be better with lovely views.
My wife treated herself to a necklace made by one of the staff. She wore it to a friends wedding a week later and picked up several compliments.
We will definitely drop in again when we are next in the area.
Lovely lively cafe with good food & friendly staff. Very nice chef! Try the freshly baked scones and if you have the time, cappuccino is great!
Me and my Girlfriend we're here a couple of days ago. She had the soup and i ordered the Steak Sandwich. The soup can be described in One word SOUR. The steak sandwich had very few slices of meat without any flavour and was chewy as hell. Another insane dumb thing was that the bread wasn't toasted. So i had an awfull tasting sandwich where everything was fallin out of it. Great! So even me as a non cook can do better than this. SO NO RECOMMENDATION!!!
We were camping nearby and walked to this cafe we sat outside as we had our two dog was told dogs were welcome we had two breakfast which were cooked fresh in front of us as we sat downstairs food was delicious would definitely recommend calling in if your passing or staying nearby
Friendly staff and good honest food. All food is prepared from scratch to order so there can be a short wait but nothing drastic, and we'll worth it ????????
Really nice restaurant and the meals are delicious. The steak was one of the best steaks i ate in a longe time. I really would recommend eating there.
