Best KPortal Reviews

2 years go you could get good value and a decent meal. Whatever reductions they have made in food prep has had a serious effect.
Lasagne without béchamel. Hardly worth calling by its name with rock hard pasta sheets I have to break into to get too. Needless to say it went in the bin. At the cost of £5 odd it’s something not to be touched. The thought to remove the most staple easy food that the nation loves also “chips” is a bizarre move. Used to side any meal and its affordability is what working class people love. Paying full prince for a diagonally cut baguette that means less filling is also mind blowing. You cannot get a cheap meal from there anymore and I recommend that you go across the road to Greggs which is what I do now. This cafe has now lost its appeal and at its rate cannot see it open for to long unless drastic changes are made. Long are the days of a meal for £3. Now it’s £7 for a basic dinner and drink per day
As a cafe goes, it's alright. Food tastes as good as you'd expect from a greasy spoon come restaurant. The only real drawback is that the food costs a bomb. If you are after a breakfast roll, you're better off getting one from a nearby burger van. Same quality but a lot cheaper!
On the plus side they have a little Costa coffee franchise if you're a coffee lover. However, only one person works it, so if it's busy, you won't get quick service as they do it all on their own.
Came here for the first time and had a cooked breakfast.
It's my first time here so can only comment on today's experience so far, but I'll definitely be returning again next week.
Breakfast was a good quality, No plate full of grease, food tasted good and portion size was reasonable for the price of the breakfast.
Looking forward to next week's breakfast now.
A great place to have lunch with colleagues and friends. Good variety of hot and cold food and also caters for vegetarians all at an affordable price.
Lovely food here for a very reasonable price! The staff are very nice as well
