Great find in Hastings for coffee lovers, I had the best coffee, a delicious sausage roll and the friendliest of smiles. I love to support small, Cafe Le Mer is the place to go for your morning coffee fix.
Made a point of stopping here on a cycle through from Kent to Newhaven and was not disappointed. Flat white was spot on as were the baked goods I stashed away for later that day. Owner operated and it shows, businesses like this are the centre of communities, keep doing the good things. Will be visiting again soon ????.

Don't bother with the chains get your coffee from this gem right in the middle of Hastings. Perfect location to grab a coffee and then pop over the road to Jempson's for a sandwich and head to the beach. Easily the best coffee we've had in the area.

My mornings have improved since Mark has been in town. No more coffee shop queues and he genuinely cares how my day is going. Incredible coffee too and lovely range of healthy soft drinks. Sometimes I sit at one of his tables and sometimes I go. Great place to meet people too!
