Best KPortal Reviews
It might be raining outside or windy enough to blow the kilt round yer luggoles, but inside, with its steamed up windies, is a warm welcome and one of the best fish pies EVER!
And my wife is loving the Mixed Bean Enchilada.
I stopped by on the off chance there was a table free and there was. Staff were extremely friendly and a great menu choice. I chose from the kids menu for our children and they were not disappointed by the portion sizes, they were more than adequate for my 9yr old and his two younger siblings. The adult menu was again not disappointing and a great choice on offer. A really nice atmosphere and just as good food and drink on offer. Great pannini's and toasties on offer. I saw other food choices come out for other customers and they looked just as good. Great place to visit.
A lovely cafe with a friendly welcome. I called in after catching the ferry over from Portavaidie. The bacon and scrambled eggs were delicious. The scrambled eggs were light, fluffy, buttery and awesome. The cakes looked fantastic too so I had a takeaway tiffin bar for my afternoon snack.
Wonderful café in the heart of Tarbert. Right opposite the harbour, close to the ferry terminal. What strikes you straight away is the mix of customers. Locals, tourists and workers all in at the same time. Friendly and helpful staff. Cullen Skink delicious and amazing value. Wide and varied menu. Reasonably spacious with unusually comfortable seats!
A lovely cafe, popular with locals. Great food, great prices, lovely staff, and dog friendly too. They do take-out as well. Parking on street outside. Harbour views.
Lovely cafe, visited for breakfast the traditional Scottish breakfast. It was all well cooked and well presented. Plenty on the plate to keep you going for a busy day. Some great views of the harbour all tables have a harbour view so make sure you get the window facing seat.
Staff were polite and friendly and very helpful for recommendations.
Certainly worth a visit but make sure you are there early for a table as it gets very busy and plenty of people popping in to collect takeaways.
Food was fantastic. It was really tasty and not greasy. Service was quick and friendly.
We thought this was the best choice in town. Well run with good food. The shakes and ice cream were especially good.
