Great site, 7 minute shower for £1 which was lovely and hot. Bus station 5 minutes away if you want to get to Pen y Pass car park. And a nice pub just opposite ????
Booked for 2 nights to hike up Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon). The location was fantastic, just over the road from the park and ride to get the bus to Pen Y Pass. Loads of room to camp in the field, some people with small caravans or campers and some with tents.
The showers and toilets were brilliant, although as other reviews have said, you will need your own toilet paper. £1 gets 7 minutes of shower time which is perfect for a nice hot shower.
The views from the camp were brilliant, but be aware that there isn’t much signal there, both EE and Vodafone only just had a bar or 2 at best depending where you were.
I’ve stayed at sites more expensive than £10per person per night and the facilities and location were far inferior.
If you are looking to stay in the area, don’t hesitate to give them a ring and book, I’ll definitely be staying again if I’m in the area!
Fab little camp site, stayed here with my daughter, very clean and tidy lovely hot showers clean toilets and washing facilities, and for £11 a night, great price, so ideal for walks up the miners path, and pub across the road, wat mor cam you ask for,
Price is £15 per person per night now. Have been coming here for at least ten years and it’s gone up twice in about a year. I think this is more expensive than many others in the area and the facilities, while adequate, are basic. No toilet paper. No running hot water(!), showers are £1 for 7mins.
The views are lovely and the ground is well draining. The Vaynol Arms and the Snowdon Sherpa are just over the road.
I just don’t think the price is decent value any more and will sadly not be returning when there are now better options.
easy to book and just 10pound per night also having basic facility but coins shower and no toilet paper that i took some beforehand. it has no official check in time, just reach here and pay money then choose the place to do the camping, easy, and that has bus stop that was very good for me also having a arms near that ok for dinner or a beer of drink etc.... signal here weak but getting wifi at particular place however, that enough to check weather and find final route also a basic communication with fds. good choice for doing trekking in snowdonia i believe.
The camp site is in excellent location but price has gone up by 40% since we stayed last time. No hot water. Showers are paid which we didn’t find appealing at all specially when you are paying £15 per person per night to setup the tent.
A brilliant little campsite. They provide toilets and showers. You can buy wood for your fire. The mountain scenery all around is absolutely stunning. The owner's and people of Nant and Llanberis are lovely and couldn't be more welcoming. There's a pub right outside the campsite that serves scrumptious food and loads to drink. If you don't want to drive then Llanberis itself is a brisk half hr walk or a short bus ride, might I add the bus stops right outside the campsite. There's wonderful shops with everything you need there and places to eat drink and sleep.
I really enjoyed my stay.
Thank you.
One of the most picturesque campsites I’ve ever been to. Lovely staff and great facilities! Only £1 for a 7 minute shower with hot water. Would definitely recommend.
