Unfortunately I had a negative experience after requesting an MOT and service. I work in a hospital so signal isn’t great however did not get a call to give consent to extra work being done. I received a call later that afternoon to say the car was ready and the cost was nearly £400! I tried to resolve the issue when I was picking up the car but was advised I couldn’t take my car away until I had paid. Extremely disappointed with this service.
Campbell came highly recommended by three people I have known for years whom I have met at the park while walking my dog. My car is an MR2 made in 1986, so I am always worried about parts.
I had a worried journey home from EK as my clutch pedal decided not to work approaching the town centre island on a shopping trip. Thankfully, the clutch returned. I dropped the car off on Tuesday with other problems, no reverse light and no working handbrake.
The undetected problem related to a clutch bearing and clutch cylinder. This is the first garage I have gone to where I didn’t need to source the parts myself. All the work was completed by Saturday morning. The car would have been ready for Friday, but there was a hiccup with the cylinder.
Overall I am very impressed and wish I had gone sooner.
I've been taking my car here ever since i started driving would'nt go anywhere else. i go to c.s motors my my service and mot and if there's anything needing done for my car before mot it will get fixed before it goes and that saves time and money. top class work
